My computer doesn't want to download the 3.7 gig file without corrupting within 5 minutes of starting the download and suddenly shutting off. The only way I'm gonna be able to get in is via the test server. Hoping that 600-something mb patch I downloaded on there is what I think it is. If not, well, Hope everyone has fun in Praetoria.

I managed to do it with the test method, just appending -beta instead of -test to the command line. Client loads up fine and takes me to server select screen. So far so good.

So if I were to right-click the Test Server icon and change the "-test" to "-beta", will that work? I have tried downloaded the beta client a few times now and each time I keep getting an error.

if you use -beta, it will want to create a new folder "C:/Program Files/COHBeta". After it creates the folder, just stop the updater, copy->paste the test folder into the beta folder. Then restart the -Beta shortcut
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Guys I think GR-Beta stuff belongs on the Closed Beta forums.
Talking about Closed Beta issues on the Open forums is a no-no that can (will) get this thread deleted, and *could* lead to you getting kicked from the Beta and never invited to any others.
