You sure your account wasn't actually active during that time? They haven't changed how the system works, so either you got a lucky-bug or you paid for unused time

Isn't that a pretty common bug, actually? Sometimes people get truckloads of vet rewards. A buddy of mine got six years worth of vet rewards after playing only two years.
So yes, it's a bug, one that the devs don't seem too inclined to fix at this point, so consider yourself lucky.
they did a fix a little while back to take care of people (like me) who weren't being awarded their vet badges in a timely manner and the fix ended up over-rewarding some folks, I think by awarding badges for time paid rather than time played. I know I got an extra badge I "shouldn't" have, although I just took it as a 'sorry!' for the pile that hadn't been awarded correctly.
Maybe you got caught up in that wrangle somehow?

I do think it is a bug as a friend of mine had the exact thing happen when she just started her account back up.
Feel lucky that you got the rewards.
I doubt they will go back and take them away.

It was a pretty common bug, just like vet rewards not rewarding on time. Not too long ago they "fixed" the whole system which resulted in quite a few people getting several years of rewards ahead of time.
Huh! Well, I had to ask in case they started doing creation time, as that'd mean I was owed even more rewards. ;D I'll submit a ticket, I guess, I'm too honest. -.- Though hopefully they'll ignore it. =p

So I reactivated after another idle year, and found myself awarded everything up to Addicted (36 months); I DEFINITELY do not have 36 months of active time (more like 15 or something I think). Is this a bug, or did they change vet rewards to length of account creation time, not subscription time?
