Glowing Eyes: Shamelessly Stolen from Mutant Pack

The new glowing eyes in the Mutant Pack are PERFECT for representing the classic "white eyes" used in superhero comics and animation! It's a shame however that the effect is married to the Bioluminescent face.

I love the "glow" effect that is really just a color that doesn't shade, this effect is perfect for giving eyes a color that isn't nearly as glaring as the level 30 auras are.

Here are some examples of iconic superheroes using the effect I'm talking about:

Yeah, Lightslinger fits in there...moving on.

We have the tech to make this happen as evidenced by the Mutant Pack, so....please please please please please.

And agreed on the 30 auras. They're all way too big, not a subtle one in the bunch. Even the Kheldian eye glows are subtler than those (which I also wouldn't mind seeing added to regular costumes and/or auras).

I very much agree that we need more faces with those glowing eyes, including the glowing eyes face.

Being optimistic, I'm hoping that with the new glow-map tech, they could try to copy or port all the current patterns and allow them to become glows, there's a number of patterns that would just multiply with coolness in being able to glow, especially the tattoo/magic-symbol styled ones.

The mere fact that those glows were part of a secondary selection much like patterns makes it even more likely it might be the case.

Slight tangent: have you tried out Supernatural Face 11 (or maybe 13, can't recall)? The face itself has its own detail to color the eyes like that.

No, it doesn't. It colors the eyes, and then puts a splotch of color AROUND the eyes as well.

Frankly, it's ugly.

OP: Yes, please.

I'm in with Aggy. I tried it out and thought it looked horrible for what I wanted. I might be able to make some use out of it if I want it to look like that, but it isn't a good substitute for what's being talked about in the thread.

Well, those are the blank eyes. I don't recall those as colorable, but admittedly I haven't explored that in a while.

I'm at work or I'd double check for myself.

Glowing Face 14 (for men, at least) has independently-colourable "glowing eyes" which also prevents you from using any facial patterns because the eye colouring takes up the pattern slot. However, the "glowing" eyes do not glow. They darken in the dark the same as all the others. The Organic Armour face eyes, by contrast, do not darken in dark areas, and so glow in the dark. This needs to be copied over to at LEAST the glowing eyes face, and I dare say all faces in general.

Still want this and the Kheldian sashes.
VEATs get their unique costume parts, why dont Kheldians?
And No, just running the shield is not a suitable 'fix'. Why? Because it looks like your stuck in a giant, glowing hamster ball, thats why.

I'm not disagreeing with this post, but try using darker colours for a more subtle appearance. Dark Grey instead of white etc.

Hmm... I could've sworn Kheldians got access to the Kheldian auras as separate aura pieces when they got access to the kheldian costume change emotes, but Paragonwiki says I'm wrong
