EU Updater not downloading new patch

Hi

Is anyone having a problem with the EU updater not downloading the new patch after the downtime?

I boot up the updater as normal and can log in all the way but when I go to choose my server I get the message:

Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 1800.201006040036.5Tr, client 1800.201006040036.3T

Has anyone had this?

Try closing and restarting the updater occasionally. It's possibly they haven't pushed the update out to the EU servers yet. You shouldn't need to restart (unless you just want to kill time).

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

I just shut down completely (not restarted) and switched back on and it seems to be working now

i have the exact problem and no matter what i do, i restarted the computer relaunched the updater thousnds of times it doesnt download any patch and i can't enter the eu servers

Same problem here, can't enter the server screen, have turned computer off and back on with no joy. Hopefully a Dev will be long soon to advise what has happened, until then, I'll continue to watch the football, with occasional click of the updater!

My game decides it wants to boot up into windowed mode instead of full screen and after 2 verification, 2 PC reboots and countless log in, I am still getting the same message when trying to enter a server.

I'll throw my "Yep, this is happening to me too" onto the table as well.

I'm sure the devs are aware of it, so it looks like it's Kettle Time! Kick back, pour the PG Tips and wait til things are resolved. Unlike a lot of other MMOs I've played, I trust the CoX staff, so I'm confident this will be resolved asap

Yep. Exact same problem here as well.
Fire up CoH...updater 'sees' a 25mb file but doesn't download it.
Not sure if this file it sees is the patch or not. However, nothing seems to work.
Shut down updater and restart it - no download.
Shut down windows and restart it - no download.
Verify all files and restart it - no download.

It would seem to me that the update server isn't 'pushing' the file to our clients.

Hope they fix it soon.

Same here, the EU updater isn't grabbing the patch. Because of this, the servers will never let you in, no matter what you try on your computer. This is solely Paragon Studio's problem.

i've put in a support ticket but would just mention that my partner's pc "saw" the patch and downloaded it so hes happily playing on union atm whereas im still sitting here trying to get mine to work (and no he wont let me on his pc)

One thing you could try doing that might work is to delete the Coh.checksum file (located at either C:\Program Files\City of Heroes\Coh.checksum or C:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\Coh.checksum on Windows (32bit and 64bit Windows, respectively). That should force it to get a new checksum and hopefully force it to patch the client.

Tried to trick it by using US updater. It downloaded and applied patch.
After that I tried EU updater, it downloaded and applied something, but still getting the same message when clicking on server.
