On checking your Sig as well, are there any AT's that don't annoy you?
Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt
I'd grab popcorn, but honestly I'm tired of this movie.
Knockback is situationally useful; more so when it is consistent and used strategically. Stormies are actually pretty well off in this respect - their KB generally carries an entire spawn the same distance in the same direction. Energy Blast is less fortunate, because of chance for knockback and radial KB; this can be mitigated using flight and overhead positioning or by sticking with single target attacks. Radial, melee-range KB is extremely difficult to use beneficially.
There, we're done. Now the thread can go on for twenty more pages of useless bickering, as usual.

Badly played characters with KB can make things more difficult. Next on the news at 11, we'll discuss how people who are afk are not contributing to the group.
Seriously though, I'm gonna go ahead and lock this post since this discussion will only get ugly and when I check the forums tomorrow I don't want to have to do as much work since it'll be my Birthday. I do have to say, that I'm a huge Storm fan and understand that using it appropriately is one of the more challenging activities in our game. Bad players will be bad it is true, but the best way to deal with people who detract from your fun is avoid those kind of people.

Uncontrolled, mindless Knockback makes things annoying for most everyone but the person using it.
The Stormy that opens constantly with Gale, blows everyone off the ice patch, ruins every ones AOE's and PBAOE's, then runs around with Hurricane constantly toggled might be great for soloing, but you are annoying the hell out of everyone else, and making things go much slower than necessary.
But hey, their (miniscule) damage and fun is vastly more important than everyone elses AOEs and PBAOE's right?

Oh, and f you run around constantly on teams with Hurricane toggled you ARE getting laughed at, and complained about in tells.
The Squid (Kheldian) that knocks mobs around, usually further down the hall closer to the next group, usually right before everyone elses AOE go off is annoying to every melee and aoe charaqcter there. Did you know that you can fly directly above them and blast at will and do knockdown instead of knockback?
Energy Blasters I'm looking at you too.
Does your toon have KB? Do you use it in an uncontrolled and thoughtless manner? Has anyone ever mentioned why it's annoying and counterproductive on teams? If you don't, have you ever noticed this with certain sets? if so, have you bothered to try and edumacate the rookie doing it?
Admittedly, I am sorta blunt about this sorta thing and will tell people straight up what's happening and why it's annoying and slowing things down (in tells first). I sometimes end up being the bad guy as people get defensive and or pissy. Clearly, my approach needs work. What sort of comments do you use?
