I have been trying for over 6 weeks now to copy toons over to the test server. I am very much saddened that when I sent petitions in game they are not even answered on this subject. Hopefully the devs see this post and take a good look at it as many of us seem to want this option again.

As 'suggested' I have read the entire thread and am now QQ'ing.

Something's stuck in your Firefox profile.

Find your profile folder and delete it. It'll be in your %USERPROFILE% somewhere under the "Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles" folder. It's a folder and usually looks something like "3sfh215s.default".

I wonder if it's as simple as the Devs have the Character Copy tool pointing to the Going Rogue test server by mistake...

I said I had uninstalled and reinstalled it, would that not delete the folder? Regardless I use chrome now

Woo hoo the copy tool is working for me again!
I was able to copy two toons from two different servers.
Used Firefox.

Caught back up with the thread about two hours ago, queued another copy, checked just now... nada.



Edit: still nothing the morning after, so it wasn't that it was just taking longer than that.

Spent a while trying to copy characters over. No success.

I hope I didn't miss the secret magic window or something. :/

Great did I miss something. I tried my old link to copy toons and it apperas as down. I really really hope they fix this someday as this is getting old,

Sorry. That offer expired like 2 weeks ago.

I'm patching Test to see if my copies worked. I was just now able to select all the servers, see characters choices, and got the message that they were copying, so we'll see.

That's the link I was using... I just tried another copy (from Infinity), so we'll see.

One question for the people who are able to get it to work: do you have under 12 characters on Test, so that it's just using the original 12 slots? I'm at around 15 characters with 5 open, and I wonder if that has anything to do with it (similar to when the store is unavailable, how you can't create new characters outside of the original 12 slots on a server).


Edit: and in the time it took to patch, the Stalker copied. Time to change my signature again...

I qued up a few hours ago and no sign of the toons making it to test server. doing it yet again and it shows copy in progress............. I think I have seem that sadly before, though with no results.
Let us all cross our fingers and hope beyound hope that it works now....................

Still no luck for my Guardian characters. Tried two of them yesterday and still no characters on Test.

Trying Virtue now.
