Eh, totally disagree.
A good dom will do more than just set up spikes.
BUT there's no good team doms in this game anymore.

Simply spamming dots on blasters has a noticeable effect on the opposing team's DPS (interrupting snipes ftw). Being able to wormhole people to corners, as well as cage them is definitely good use of disruption time.

And movement slows still work if you have PB to back them up (if i can prep and slow a target on a grav/kin without pb, a grav/nrg spamming -jump_heights and good damage should be able to do even more).

I've tried popping 15 bfs against an earth dom for testing....and still cant get out of the stun any sooner to pop greens this is on top of an aegis and impervious proc. 6sec base+slotted stuns+pb+dom+105ft range. Honestly i think my 12 sec stun is a conservative number.

glad to hear dr doesn't effect you. seriously though we should load these all up and test them because they should all be the same time. Then we can add it to the bug list and never have it touched.


Even the 2 seconds extra listed in cod isn't going to be that huge once pb, dom and slotting come in. And the rest of earth really is horrible.

here goes the nerf herding...but seriously you dont need any other power in earth if all you need to finish off the guy is double stacked proc'd PR and proc'd tf.

should all be the same time...but it hasnt been the same time for A LONG time.

I'm not sure whether to troll with having farmed regins and blasters and won FFAs my earth/emp with just fossilize and cage or not.
Justice pvp is entertaining sometimes.

Totally get that. But for example a grav ta does better(which is why everyone started rolling them). TA fenders are actually awesome for putting acid arrow on blasters-prevents snipes and does a sizeable debuff so the target is ready to get spiked. (onto the silly) Infact a regin can probably do more positive for a team by just web nading everyone and then taunt spamming an emp (silit and justin did rock that 2 v 2 tourney but i will let them give you a more exciting/accurate/beefed up/doofed up account of that). And I said more positive. So its still good, just others can do it better.

oh and doms are farm targets but thats irrelevant. They are good on small teams though.

I'm not focusing on duels otherwise my list would be different lol. Anyways alot of good doms (in general as in don't have to be earth/nrg) can beat down elec/therms cuz dominations up enough where they can bring way more greens. And the cold can make ur 12 sec stun last 5 and make it never up much. And i put my money on a good mind/fire than a earth/nrg /nrg makes it crap even if it can make ur stun last a bit longer lol.

With a well timed TK + snipe+flares, repeat as soon as the suppression is over, I would also place the mind/fire ahead in a duel vs earth/engy.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

i fully agree.


and yeah, doms are farm targets 'cause people are bad. numerically speaking, doms are supposed to be able to take a lot more heat that blasters when you factor in high to-hit scenarios and no heal decay.

yet somehow, people find ways to get farmed on doms even when they have competent support.

Any tips for power choices for the elec/therm? I know the general outline but I'm unsure about most of thermal (which buffs to take or not take with the remaining power choices), the snipe, and patron choice (though mako feels pretty right).
