That badge (The Old Fashioned badge) is not new....it's been around since issue 8.

Heck yeah! First thing any of my characters do upon entering Faultline for the first time is shoot through the donut hole!

And my "Mighty Thunor" wears "Old Fashioned" for his badge title, 'cause he's around 1300 years old.

Dec out.

heh... There were several buildings that were built as "shapes" in the '50's. Take Tacoma's very own Java Jive, for instance.

Well, first of all, it isn't exactly little and secondly, it's 60 years old and has been in so many movies, TV shows and music videos it's difficult to list them all. It's a classic example of kitschy Americana design that's cited in nearly every history of design extant.

This thread has made me want to return to the States, just to see giant stuff! NZ has many a 'giant' landmark (usually for provincial towns) like a giant bottle of L&P (softdrink / soda), a giant carrot and many others. We even had a giant donut of our own (built to attract the makers of a Simpsons movie or somesuch) until it was burnt down and replaced with an oversized tractor tyre painted pink. ... ... Yeah.

The TV show, "Who Wants to be a Superhero" I believe, was a reality show done by stan lee. One of the contetants played the game on champion, and he told Stan about the game. In the finale episode, there was a shot of him flying through a giant donut.

Stan Lee knows about CoH because the winner of the second So you Want to Be a Superhero reality show was a player of CoH. Gee, you guys don't know your own game history.... it was in the forums..... LOL.

It's not a stretch to me that at least one person involved in the development of that movie hasn't played or at least perused the game.
Heck, I hear that the folks at Marvel like City of Heroes so much that they've created their own Marvel heroes in the game!

We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
