to explain about the disappearing posts. initially the only posts that show are from the starred commentors. most of them are blithering idiots, but they got someone to give them the exaulted status so they are initially visible. click the link that says show all discussion and all your stuff should be visible. also check out the mad wisdom from that ryan frost 13 guy, he must be as handsome as he is brilliant...ok, now i made myself sad...

Im sorry if im reading this wrong, but that reads like an attack...maybe it's just early and im still confused as to why my comment didnt show up over there either, but...

I believe Marcian got the wrong end of a stick and took your post as a "DOOOOOOOOM, people think this game sux cos it doz" post, rather than as intended as "Looking at the things people say put them off the game, it seems like a lot of it has to do with the older content. This helps provide evidence for my continued requests for the Devs to spend some time revamping old content rather than just adding the new shineys to the new content", which is how I took your post.

This right here. I genuinely misunderstood your post, Techbot. My apologies. Yesterday was not an "on" day by any standard.

And yeah. As anyone who was at the EU test server Dev chat will atest, one of my major bugbears is the continued mantra of 'New and shiny is better than revamps!'

It's not. It's not when the difference between New and Old is so staggering. Play the Peregrine Island Praetorian arcs, for example. Then play the new I17 missions.
Then you look me in the optic and tell me those don't need revamping.

So, that was part of the 'Im not shutting up' part

they do, but on a thread that is supposed to be at least somewhat about putting on a united front and enticing other peopel tocome, particularly after they riterated that they wont be doing a new pass on old content int he near future, maybe it could be held for a more constructive thread and not trawled out as a blunt weapon to swat the developers with yet again so soon after they already commented on it. keep in mind you are drawing this observation from the same pool of people on kotaku that seem to beleive that co is the graphic update of coh, and that we need to raise the level cap. so maybe these arent the best voices to go to for a rational outlook. I want old content revamped too, particularly the shard but can we keep it focused for the intent of the thread before we kick and scream for candy at the check out line when we have already been told no? no one is asking to shut up(well, not before the diversion) but maybe placing the thought in an appropriate thread, can we get that maybe?
