/rad AM+hasten?
I dunno how close you can get either without IOs, but as for when to hit it...I wouldn't have thought it makes too big a difference.
You could either hit Hasten when AM drops to stagger the recharge buffs or at the same time for a huge buff. I'd be more inclined to hit Hasten at the same time as AM so you've got the increased recovery going which you'll want with being able to fire your powers off so much faster.
The Melee Teaming Guide for Melee Mans
The theory that I found and liked the most was, before they're both perma'd, that on teams you hit Hasten and AM at the same time to try and keep AM up on the team more often, and then solo alternate them so you have a constant recharge decrease for your attack powers.
I'm with Joe on this one: stagger solo; double up on teams.

AM does not increase the recharge rate of AM so you hit hasten at the same time to have AM more often.

In my experience I usually stagger them so as to have a bonus to recharge as much of the time as possible, whether I'm on a team or solo. The only time I don't stagger is when I have managed to make them both perma (through buffs from others usually, like Speed Boost)
Sigh someone told me it only increases the recharge of your attacks not everything (this was before combat attributes). In that case if I ever play my fire/rad again I'll be staggering it.
You may wish to start using them staggered, or start using them at the same time. I think in the long run of playing the ideal would be using them as often as possible and when they recharge. The more you use the two the more you have their benefits.
Wow I just had a thought.
AM gives stamina so it makes sense to drop Hasten at the same time so it is up more often.
Hasten has an end drop and stamina debuff so you should stagger them.
Now I have a headache.
hasten only has an enddrop not a stamina debuff

I agree with the stagger solo, together for teams
To get them both working perma you need roughly an additional 78% global recharge bonus from IO's or buffs

Pre-perma, use as needed (before both fights, before large spawns, etc). By level 30, you shouldn't have a huge end problem on any rad emission character. At 50, get yourself perma'd for AM/Haste, I cannot stress this enough. It's well worth the trouble of cost and time in the end. My source of experience is 3 Rad Emissions toons at 50, Fire/Rad troll, Rad/Ice fender, and an AR/Rad corr.
Just to clear up the confusion on the thread.
Haste 70% recharge (-end when wears off, not -recovery)
AM 30% Recharge +end recovery (no ill effects when wears off)
Working on a perma AM/Hasten toon myself. Would you mind posting your Ar/Rad build for us to see? Also was curious as to when would be the earliest one could hope to achieve this goal.
meh...rather leave Hasten on auto-fire and click AM whenever it's up
of course it's all the same once you go for Perma AM/Hasten ;p
Hello. Back after a break. I have a lvl 29 rad/rad I have just found and thinking of taking Hasten. How do I use Hasten most effectively with AM? Do I hit Hasten as soon as I use AM? Or after it wears off? How close can I get it to perma-Hasten without set bonuses from IOs. (I will be using SOs for a while longer yet.)
I only just remembered how fun this character is
Thankyou
