As stated the nerfs to xp are extreme and hard. Since no one is playing why make it harder for the ones that are here, why nerf the xp and why nerf the drops.
I would think that making it easier for the ones that are playing and the drops would encourage new 50s and make it a stronger player base for when GR hits. Even more so since i17 has nothing at all in it except 2 arcs and a new posi which is just a similar posi kinda updated. why not reward people for staying with the game and make it easier for the ones still playing instead of harder which only makes people go to other games? i think its another case of the devs diconnect with player base |

I can only assume you are referring to the AE changes.
Not for nothing, but the regular arcs and missions still work just fine for leveling. I've been doing it for years. I find that leveling in general has become EASIER over time, not harder.. with the release of Patrol XP and the XP smoothing curve.. etc.
When did they nerf xp and drops?
Good thing I17 doesn't have any major graphics update to improve the game.

If no one is playing, then who cares what changes they make? It's not like anyone will notice.

Drops have never been nerfed. (With the exception of the PvP timer thing)
Allies that help you reduce the risk in AE missions, thus reduce rewards.
I don't see a problem.

Here a hint Stay alway form AE, go lvl the old fashion way, Me and a tons of friends still play this game and don't tell me that no one plays this game. They do award people for Staying with the game, it is called Veteran Awards, Trench Coat, Temp powers, Angel and Demons Wings are all unlock with more time you spent playing the game. The Xp is fine as it is, I can't complain about it.

Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.
To the OP.
Just before any Issue hits the live servers you will see a dip in the number of people playing the game. This is usually more noticable on the lower population servers. They are not gone for good. Some of them are playing on the test server checking out the new shiny stuff. The others are probably taking a break from the game for a week or two before the issue releases to relieve any burn out they may be feeling. Directly after the issue comes out there will be more people on than normal.

I like that everyone needs to get to 50 before Going Rogue hits. Because of course there will be no content in Going Rogue for anyone below level, oh, I dunno, 20.
