Ahoy hoy! Well, where to begin. Guardian isn't the busiest server by any stretch, but we're lively enough. Blueside moreso than Redside of course, but that's pretty much the norm anywhere you go. PvP isn't much here, if that's your cup of tea. The main Global channels used are "Guardian", "Level 50" and "Guardian's TF", although there are of course any number of other local channels. As for planned events:
Tuesday @ 6pm PST/9pm EST - DT Rikti Mothership Raid
Wednesday @ 6pm PST/9pm EST - TA Hamidon Raid
Saturday @ 9pm PST/Midnight EST - DT Rikti Mothership Raid
There's usually people around running TF's and SF's as well, many of which are announced in the Globals prior to starting. Life gets a little slow latenight PST, but there's still people on.
We're an eclectic bunch, ranging from the highly intelligent player and over to the ones that are just wonko, hehe. And if you move to Guardian, come bearing plenty of bacon and be sure to keep your cookies away from Ulli unless you want them all eaten. Oh, and watch out for Pepsi. He has a habit of eating people (or parts of people), peeing in the Globals and occasionally flooding said channels with all sorts of edible liquids, heh.
That being said, you're more than welcome to move in. There's plenty of spare rooms in our house and we're always happy to accept new people!
I'll echo pyber here and add that we are also serious Badge Hunters. I see events all the time pop up for the sole purpose of Badging.
The Crowd here is usually very friendly when you reach out. A lot of people (not limited to Guardian, but people in general) seem kind of distant and appear to ignore you. Once you reach out in the Global Channels and show your friendly intent, they usually open up and have a lot of fun.
Speaking of hiding and activities, there are a lot of us who /hide_all. That is why we encourage the use of the Global Channels.

I wouldn't say bring nothing redside. Just be prepared for the limited numbers on redside here. I tend to play almost exclusively on redside and have a fairly large coalition to call upon if I'm ever hunting for teams or help. I have no problem lending redside toons a hand if I'm not otherwise engaged.
I will agree though that a lot of the bigger redside VG's have moved or broken up.
I am probably one of the most consistant villain players. Probably close to 90% of my toons are redside. I love to run SF's usually early weekdays and anytime on weekends.
As far as VGs I really don't think there are any dominat ones. My VG is mainly my 2 accounts, but I have a base with all the basics.
Also I am one of the avid badgers.
At least stop and join us for a day of mayhem and destruction.

Hola Guardian. I'm one of Wise Woman's crew.
This has been the most pleasant, open servers we have visited. I rolled a couple of toons today, and both recieved team invites right away.
Looks like our crew will be moving in to the server. Been part of the team looking at real estate for the new SG Base. I think we found a nice place overlooking the beautiful pyro of Steel Canyon. I'll be fighting my buddy Louie for the top bunk.
Once we are official, I'll be hopping on your global chat channels and saying Hi personally.
I'm transfering my favorite blaster, my archer, but I may change his name slightly when he gets here. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to leveling my new Stone/Dark Tank and my Kin/DP Defender amongst your crew of heroes.

As well as all the stuff said above I often host GM raids that generaly go untill we can go no longer! We mostly fight them for fun since the xp isn't great and we already have the badges but it is great teambuliding and it helps people get a feel for their characters if your interested Ill see if I can get one started up for you since they aren't regular just tell* me @Pheonix Feather sadly I'm a weekend only kinda guy so only expect me then and feel free to ask any member of the werewolves for help just tell them Garj sent you

You will find a great bunch of folks in this server. Granted, the population may not be anything like Freedom, but the quality is tops.
I usually run Shard TF's (mostly on the weekends AM). While I can't play as much as I used to (due to RL issues), I try to make the best of the time at my disposal.

Back on Protector, I ran a twice-a-year GM Hunt for the SG and Coals and anyone else in zone that wanted to jump on the team. We also have rolled some Scorched Earth ITFs, Respec Saturday Night (each of the 3 Respec Trials starting at 8, 930 and 11PM EDT), Freedom Phalanx TF Week, The first "Raw is Warburg" (we arent much for PvPing. This was a "Royal Rumble" style, hide if you can, hunt if you must, team if you trust, winner take all furious fatal fun free-for-all), and the infamous S***-Faced Saturday Night. We love playing any kind of unusual event.
There are at least 12 that I can count coming over. Some of us will drag over a 50 or two. Everyone is creating new toons to get that "fresh-faced Noob" feeling again. The bulk of us are active in the evenings EDT. We have a couple of "West Coasties", an Australian who doesn't sleep if there is cold beer in the 'fridge and a Euro who won't sleep until the riots come back down his street and knock out his internet...again. And best of all, we are just here to play the game.
And at some point, since I will be visiting these forums more often, I'll craft me up an avatar and a signature. Maybe I should get one of them there "Facey Books". Wonder if I can get one down at the book store...
