I was born in the early 70's and while I don't identify with the whole disco thing (thank goodness), I was able to enjoy the early 80's and the advent of what was MTV and to me the last great decade in music (80-85 more than 86-89) as well as the 60's (as Blacjac) mentioned.
The boy "band" craze was bad with the New Kids. My folks owned a record store and I ran it and the merchandising for the New Kids was beyond ridiculous. This was before the mainstream got a hold of the internet. Heaven forbid what that would have been like....
Today, if you want good music, you certainly wont find it on US Airwaves.

Well, I just rolled a trick arrows/archery def - Sassy Sasha lvl 14. I turned off XP so I coould finish the Hollows arc. Then yesterday I rolled a Illusion/Storm troller - Stormy Clearweather lvl 15.
