Is there any way to see our rep comments?

I don't take much notice of rep, but yesterday for some reason I noted I would 'become famous soon' or sth similar, with 2 green blobs. Today I note that I've got one and am at -23 rep points.

I'm not really all that bothered tbh, but am curious as to how it went from 2 green to 1 red in such an apparently short time. Does anyone know how it works? Is this evidence of loads of small bad reps or just one rep-hig person hitting me?

And can we read the comments left for us at all now?

You have to go thru each of your posts and click on the scales to find out which one has recieved a rep comment.

That would do it. When the MM exploit got plugged on Live, I posted something in the discussion thread ("Yes, this is an exploit, and people who are using it ARE exploiting the system and have no grounds to complaint about an EXPLOIT being FIXED", basically) and my rep went down three bubbles in five minutes.

Yeah. I'm not even sure why we have the Rep system back, unless it's something they can't disable with the new forum software. But the whole Rep thing was stupid back with the whole Star system, and it's still stupid now.

You can disable it. I have seen vBulletin boards without it. They just don't want to, for whatever mysterious reason.

I agree, and love the new avatar there, Liquid.

I saw what you did there.

I turned mine off. I have a number of strong opinions that a number of people react strongly negatively to, and tend not to shrink from controversy. I'm not here to win any popularity contest.

I love Chi's Sweet Home, and have now taken to pimping it more then Troy Hickman pimps his eisner nominated series Common Grounds, and Top Cow Pilot Season winner Twilight Guardian (Available soon at fine bookstores and reputable comic stores near you!).

For some reason, I initially read that as "Hell-Rapping".

I've had a similar thing - I was wondering why my rep has dropped from three green bars to just one, and the only reason I can find is a somewhat snarky post in the "Limbo inf rumor?" thread, which received a single negative rep with just the comment "lol". Unless someone's been downrepping my posts from months ago.

I kind of wish we had the list of "here are the posts that got you good/bad rep" back.

wow I have 390!

EDIT: The next day it's at 973?! That must be neg and pos combined right? I'm definitely not that awesome.

Reputable comic stores?

Hahahahahaaaaa!

Troy Hickman - So proud to have contributed to and played in this wonderful CoH universe

I turned my rep comments off after going from 3 positive bars into the negative and could only find 2 neg repped posts... one of them a suggestion that a thread devoted to suggestions should go in the suggestions forum.

Well, I was gonna say "The trunk of my Cousin Nunzios Van", but he's currently having to relocate after his recent sale on TV's, which was so good it was practically a "steal".

You are a good poster, MCM. Keep doing what you do, and do not let the idiots get you down!

It's interesting how people only seem to take issue with the system and consider it useless when it comes to negative reputation, and barely a comment is passed on the GIMME POSITIVE REP YE circle-fap that goes on.

Personally, I think the whole thing is stupid either way, and should really just be removed again.

The only issue I have with the system is how the comments are made without your username being attached to it. I guarantee half the abuse would drop off the face of the earth once MacTinyballs realises he has to put a name to his derp derp.

I concur. It's fine if you criticize me, but the anonymity of rep comments has led to some rather out of line messages that I have no way to respond to.
