Demons are going live with i17. Not only is i17 still in Closed Beta, the EU Test server was rolled back to i16 to test this patch. It's a hotfix for whatever the current AE exploit is, almost certainly.

An annoying patch to fix up an exploit or something.
Annoying because 9pm local is PRIME TIME. 
I bet we have scheduled maint tomorrow in addition to this annoyance.
Grr. They could have rolled them together -tomorrow-, they know the exploits and exploiters from their logs, vengeance could be meted, retroactively. This is just another 'quick fix' going in at any-old-time-that-suits-NCSOFT. Grr.

I know it is just me.... but I am really tired of the AE exploits fix patches.
People are smart and will always find a new exploit with the current system of AE rewards. Thousands of cats are out of the bag and Paragon Studios runs around trying to herd them now

How about the rewards for an AE mission are capped
..so no matter what goofy intentional farming/PL exploit is discovered
..you still cant get more then the cap rewards for a mission.

There is already no mission completion bonus.
Also there already is a cap on tickets for any one mission.
Even with these caps folks would still exploit.
I for one am glad the devs do hot fixes to patch stuff as needed instead of breaking things wholesale like they did with the dumb (and VERY inconsistent) changes to custom mob xp that they are just getting around to fixing now, with issue 17.

I really am starting to see AE as a major nuisance in this game though. Seriously, since the day it came out, it has done very little good compared to how much crap it brought up.
One month from now, people will inevitably find another exploit in AE, and all developers can do is take a hammer and squash it. Rinse and repeat. It's really starting to look like whack-a-mole...

So that's what the jelly bean thing was? I tend to joke about having cookies and pie when forming mish teams, I didn't know if jelly beans were another code or someone just doing what I do.
