Any decen scrapper secondaries that aren't regen?
Honestly WP is your next best bet IMO; but it's almost a /Regen in itself.
WP is trash.
Go SR and live in elude.
wp is total trash..don't fool yourself thinking ur gonna keep RttC toggles and have one foe in range at ALL times..tankers can make it work because they turn into a huge bag of hp but on a scrapper ur more like a small pouch of hp...fire and sr are tied for second in my eyes
Playing SR makes you mediocre.
Living in Elude makes you Project3x
Given PvP 2.0, SR isn't going to be impressing anyone anytime soon. In the future, who knows?
I'm too proud to live in Elude. I use it when I need it, and go for several minutes at least between uses. If it hasn't recharged, I don't care, I go right back in.
Heck, if I just got defeated and Rest isn't recharged, I charge right back in with red Health. It's only defeat.
I PvP SR, but I do so for the challenge more than anything. That, and the hope that one day a good compromise on Elusivity will be found.

Assuming this is for zones. Any well built scrapper that isn't afraid to run is workable in zones. None are as survivable as regin but all of them can preform well.
I want to add that the sr is gimp stuff gets pretty old, defense as it was was op. Anyone who doesn't want to admit it is living in a dream world. A well built sr can pretty much run around zones as it sees fit because defense does work, in particular if built and played properly.
Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.

Though this attitude pretty much sums up why SR is probably never going to be good in PvP: people don't want it to be. People hate missing, and SR lives and dies by making them miss, so any time it's working well enough to be taken seriously, people are going to hate it because missing isn't fun.
I can't really blame them. Missing truly isn't fun. Too bad SR has to pay the price.
SR as it stands, is in a much worse situation than it was in in PvP 1.0. At least then you could IO out for an impressive Defense total. In PvP 2.0, you're IOing just to get back to 30% Defense. That's bad.

Because Touch of Death's 48% Accuracy is so great for PvP.

your numerical argument on DR and defense is just plain stupid. DR also hits to-hit, so "just to get back to 30% Defense" is not lending credibility to your argument.
the only thing that's gonna consistently pierce through a well-built pvp sr scrapper is a blaster, veats or a stalker with a sizeable acc bonus (nearly impossible to do without gimping your dmg, and recharge).
"oh barrier, but what about those colds?" have you seen what -def does to a well built sr? nothing. mf nothing.
you may play an SR scrapper, but i've seen you on it, and you do not really know how to handle it adequately. you do not carry an adequate tray of insps. you assume that because you're a scrapper, you must fite 'til death. yeah, playing an SR scrapper is nothing like playing a regen, but under current zone rules, it's far easier to get by in one than on any other toon heroside with the exception of maybe well built elec tanks and non-downie shield tanks.
while i do not play my fire/sr brute anymore, the main reason for that is the lack of dmg in fire and the fact that my taunt targets are generally blasters.
redux: you're bad, sr isn't.
Take phase and aid self to add extra survivability. You won't need fitness if you slot it right. Elude then Phase then Accos then Elude is a nice combo for when you first zone in. Be sure to carry lots of blues so you can escape/phase after the crash.
Alrighty thank you all for the help. As far as which powers to select and what not to would help as well, it looks like all of the powers for SR are pretty useful and it makes for a tighter build, which powers are definitely not worth taking in the secondary?
The AoE toggle isn't really necessary, since there's no AoE in PvP for the most part. Everything else is good.
As far as primaries go... does parry or divine avalanche stack with all the defense in SR or is it better to just use Fire Melee instead of Broad Sword or Katana?

They do stack but both Parry and DA are wastes because you're gimping your own damage by spamming them. Good PvP BS builds skip Parry, and Katana isn't all that wonderful so you won't see many people playing it. Fire's still better than BS but it's not like BS is bad...
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Thank you all for the replies. You may be seeing a horrible ???/SR scrapper soon lol.
fire or elec.
otherwise, you're gimping yourself.
One last question... taunt or webnade? I have been having troubles finding out how to fit both in.
As a question is sheild defense an acceptible secondary for geurilla warfare? like Sheild Charge-->Midnight grasp--->run like hell toggling invisibility?
In the beginning the universe was created, this upset many people and is widely regarded as a bad idea.
Dont hate the minty freshness
A well built shield scrapper is fine for zones. The dm part is a little worse, but if you actually hit something it usually hurts them alot. And as for the running part, its one of if not the main reason scrappers are so popular nowadays. Thanks to ss pretty much 100% canceling out movement slows a scrapper willing to run can almost always find safety before death.

Don't forget /SR gets scaling resistance. The numbers I can recall but I know with my /sr that has helped for me to run
Just wondering if anything other than regen is able to stand a chance in pvp.
