Updated layout to the two-page splash/throwdown in the works.

I met up with the artist at Boston Comic Con. Hilarious guy as is his other artist friend. Definitely going to have to meet up at another con down the line. Bayani, Clockwork Cadaver, and the background's all set for the most part. the artist, Shaun, did an thumbnail overlay to sort out where the rest of the other heroes and villains will be in the piece.

That's shaping up nicely.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

Thanks, and yes it's Sal Velluto. I'm good friends with his favorite inker, and he introduced me to Sal.

I'm expecting a few pieces to be finished in the upcoming week such as colors by Vrykon, Thomas Chu and Pete Pantanzis with artwork by Alan Kupperberg, David Williams, Shaun O'Neill, Joe Delegatta, Eric Vedder, and Ardian Syaf. Planet Girl snagged an interesting piece of art by Dean Zachary

Here's also a thumbnail layout of Ardian Syaf's Bayani/Planet Girl cover. (Bayani and Planet Girl standing by a giant decapitated robot head)

And here's a preview at the hopefully will be finished soon colors to "Webs We Weave". Art by Stjepan Sejic and Colors by Vrykon.

Those are awesome, well except for the middle one since it is still in the rawest of forms. But still, they are all going to be fantastic when they are completed!

Just beautiful colors Bayani. That glass display did come out great and there are some beautiful lighting effects in that piece. But overall the colors are just beautiful in that piece.

I knew Vrykon would do it justice. Looks amazing!

Love the Heritage piece. The coloring style goes very well with the pencils. Almost has a traditiona feel to it.

"Business as Usual". With appearances by Crey Industries, Starflier's Clockwork Cadaver, Eddy Swan, Frost's Betty Shreds, and LiminalMask's Rubber Maiden. Still a WIP.

Is there any opportunity for edits on that WIP?

It's the finished pencils. It'll be inked in a few weeks.

Blackthorn v. Bayani is done as is the accompanying vignette. Ended up revising the mouth during the colors stage, and then going through another revision to add more lighting. Bounced/Reflected light makes a huge difference because it ties objects in the picture together, making for a stronger composition.

No Light from the flames:

Lighting added from Bayani's fire powers:

The light adds SO much to this piece! Definitely a good change.

It also makes the figures look more 3-dimensional when you have light turning over the forms.
