Seriously I have 2bill to burn on my DP/Kin corruptor and do you think I can get the recipes I want......I am playing on Union (euro) and the market is shocking.
Hardly any recipes available and those that are have ridiculous prices set,no wonder hardly anyone plays redside anymore.
Devs this needs to be addressed asap otherwise it's gonna kill the game.
Guess my corruptor shall be making the move to blueside in GR just so he can use the market........sad day indeed.

Yes, this has been dicussed many, many times. There is a current thread about it in the GR forums at the moment.

Given the amount of support for this idea, the fact that it hasn't been done yet, and the fact that the e-mail system for Going Rogue will also be hero/villain exclusive, make a market merger unlikely.

Sorry to burst your bubble

Wiki link

The ability to switch from Hero to Villain and vice versa
  • Heroes will be able to become Vigilantes, an intermediate step between hero and villain. This will enable them to visit the Rogue isles and team with villains. They may only use the market at Wentworths.
  • Villains in the intermediate stage become Rogues. Likewise, they may visit Paragon City and team with heroes, and can only use the Black Market for auctions.

I'm not sure why that's bubble burster. If you make the switch the whole way you'll be able to use Wentworth's. As I understand it, you don't have to stay a Rogue.

I may well make an optimized 'gun runner' or two once I see how it plays out for myself and if necessary for friends.

BIG ASSUMPTION is that the side switching stuff is soloable. Most of my playtime now is outside peak hours and I tend to solo a lot in it.

Ah, good point. I won't buy GR until I know that sideswitching is soloable.

Hey, you think if you keep switching sides over and over again while running inf from one side to another, you'll get some kind of badge for morally waffling like that?

The Wishy-Washy Badge: "Make up your mind, already!"

The Notorious Fence Sitter badge. For those that can't make up their minds.

I bet switching sides won't be as easy as switching builds.

I'd certainly bet not.
I'm expecting more like: Run a 5-10 story arcs to go from Villian to Rogue, then 5-10 more to get to Hero.
Maybe it's time for me to go visit the GR section and see whether there's any Dev quotes there, or just the kind of baseless speculation I can do myself.

Nope. Nothing but guesses, hunches and speculation in there.
