I believe preference to the imaginary is called something else.

Well, there's nothing wrong with thinking a picture looks hot - but if you prefer pictures to real people, then yeah, there's something not quite right in the head

Just my two cents, but I really don't see it happening.
What I'm imagining right now is that they use the dual build system. When you switch sides, you unlock two new builds, and your old builds are unavailable.

Suppose you are a level 50 hero. Your first build is just common IO's that you used while leveling up. Your second build is jam packed with awesome set IO's and PVP IO's and stuff.

You go through all the steps to become a vigilante. Nothing changes as far as your powers and enhancements are concerned.

Then you go all the way over to being a villain. Now, you suddenly find yourself at level 0, but with the little green arrow blinking away in the corner of your screen. You have no powers and no enhancements. When you go to the trainer, you are immediately able to level all the way back up to 50, reselecting your powers and reallocating your slots as you go. But all of those slots will be empty.

You'll still have two builds full of IO's, but those are your hero builds and you can't access them in any way as long as you are a villain. You don't need to earn xp to level back up to 50, but you do need to replace all of your IO's.

If you ever switch back to being a hero, your two villain builds will be locked and your hero builds will unlock.

I'm not saying that's how it *should* be, I'm just guessing that that's how it *might* be.

That would be very very very bad.

But think of how much simplier your life would be? Anyway, objectifying pixels verses a person could make for an interesting debate.

It's been almost 6 years now. And there is ALWAYS something exciting on the horizon for my all-time favorite game. Thank you devs!

This is what I fear it will be.

I don't think it'll work that way. That would be directly affecting your powers, and I don't see any logical reason why someone becoming evil would suddenly become weak. I imagine what will happen is that you end up with 0 influence, and your infamy is locked out (unless you switch back). So while you're in Paragon City you can't buy items or do anything until you start earning some hero cred. That would make more sense than your powers fading.
