It's surprising how long a bad experience can stay with you. I swore off Hami raids back when blueside was my only option for it. Some people were, probably due in no small part to the long, dull nature of the raids (then) being (purely in my opinion) abusive, offensive and generally totally turning me off of any sort of large-scale gaming activity.
I imagine that things have likely changed a great deal since then.
I'll take a look at the new raid procedure and maybe show up for a run to see how it goes.
Things have def changed. The Raid leaders are very thought out and structured. One the clearing and the raid start it all takes less than an hour. Compared to the many hours spent back in the day.
I wish they would bring the baby hamis back those were fun to get. plus they gave the hami-o rather than it being an option of merit or hami-o.

Not too long or tedious, and people were great at explaining to me what I needed to do. I just wish I had time to do more of them.
Unfortunately Tuesday raids are tough for me as I am prepping my show.

The more show up the likely-hood there will be a second raid. Also, the more that show the likely-hood another Redside hami-raid day will start.
We have the best raid leaders on the Server redside and they don't bring the drama llama.

The last several raids I went to were smooth as hell even with only 30 people to start red side and generally filled by 6 on Sundays. The leaders and regulars do a bang up job. But honestly give me a red side raid over a blue side one any day, they're actually "fun".

That said, weekdays don't work for me, so I don't come to Tuesday raids unfortunately. What happens when you're old and have responsibilities.
But props to the people who have remained dedicated to running these. They really do a bang up job red side and I got agree they don't bring the drama like I've seen elsewhere. *cough*
...but but Tuesday's at 8:00 pm is American Idol night! Although I will try to post this on my VG site and recruit/remind people about the schedule/event.

9 would be better, yes.
Red raids are cool, they can be as smooth as red raids. I've seen it happen.
I'd like to invite people to try red raids, they're fun and challenging and the rewards are good.
Quick edit: It takes us about an hour to gather but once things get started a raid takes between 45-60 minutes.
