Nah, Mstf is 100times harder then Mdr.k
I never would have guessed, Masque. Maybe you can join me for a Master run next week to help out, eh?
What are all the TFs with Master badges, again? All I could find on Paragonwiki were for the STF, Dr. Kahn, and ITF, but I thought there were more blueside. Can you not get them for most of the TFs blueside?

Just those 3.

Weird. I was always under the impression that they all had the setting. Guess I've never really bothered to check. I don't think they're really needed for the original TFs, but I'd like to see it for the LGTF: that'd be a decent challenge.

For the LGTF, the only "hard" part is Hamidon. While I'm not sure, but I doubt it, his globs of goo can't be defense'd against. While it wouldn't be impossible, I'd imagine it'd be the hardest of the Masters to get overall? Tack on the utter neutering the Greens can do to a team as you get rid of the Mitos, and it just wouldn't really be worth it. *shrug*
Besides, it's way more fun to aggro him and the yolk balls to play nice with the Rikti horde. If you're doing it as a tank, you're a #@$%#@ @#$ #@ %$% $#@ slacker...... >.>

Of course, Hamidon would be a moot point for a MoLGTF run - you could always bring EoEs.
Also works better on "pure" teams for MoLGTF so you can still access base storage. That way you don't have to waste inspiration space on the EoE's.

Rock, rock on Hamster.
I'm not saying it is the most challenging thing ever, but it's above the challenge of the Phalanx TFs and seems worthy of adding a "Master" badge to it.

I dunno, I would think it's at least on par with Dr. Kahn, if not a bit more difficult. There are a fair amount of ambushes and AVs, and some of those rooms are extremely crowded, so you would have to be careful with aggro there. The Riders can be a little more tricky as well: especially with their debuffs (as Hammy said many times this weekend "damn end drain!").

I had forgotten about the EoEs because I've never bothered to get or use them. I just plan on dying in that mission, and it's only going to be by the long-range AoE glob of doom.
I imagine the real reason there is no Master of for this, as Sarrate likes to #@$#@ CHIME IN WITH STUFF I FORGOT ABOUT is due to the EoEs negating Hamidon damage. I assume they also do the same for Mito damage and effects? Again, I never bother with them.
Would I run it as a Master of? Sure. Would I do it more than once? No

We used to run lgtfs with dual colds (which makes every mission fairly easy)and honestly, even Hami is pretty easy, we typically do not have anyone drop on the mitos as long as everyone stays on target.
I would rate the tfs:
Dr.K < LGTF< STF<ITF
I really disike Mitf because of the 5% chance of the cysts hitting you then a stray traitor or nictus droping you with a lucky hit.
If only there were attacks that you could use at range to finish the cysts off... The devs should add them in I18. We could call them... Distant Punching Attacks.

Typically the safest place on a Masters run is actually near the tank not away from the group where an ambush could spawn on you.
Also I prefer to have everyone stick as close as possible to maximize aura buffs both toggle and clicks.
Masque... the STF is far more challenging than the ITF for the Master's badge. The ambushes don't come in right when you defeat the crystals, and there is plenty of time to clump up or react to them (heck, sometimes the ambushes don't even find you: you just have to be careful if you have to backtrack to them). If you're really worried about it, have two tanks like I did and aggro management is a breeze in that one. The only two people close to the cysts were our two tanks: we had everyone else back up.
STF has many more opportunities to get you if you're not careful, I would say. And no matter what, that last mission is more tricky than anything in the ITF.

Crystal explode+ambush spawn "may" equal unavoidable deaths.
On the STF there are no insta ambush spawns. The Security Chiefs? mission spawns two ambushes but they run to you and never spawn on you. The last mission of the stf while hard still does not have the nasty spike potential that the cysts do.
I guess GP what my point boils down to is this:
at soft cap, you have a 5% chance of getting hit. The more things attack you the greater your chance of being hit is. If a cyst hits you, you will be very close to dead if your not on a melee toon, then you add in an ambush of what ... idk... 15-20 traitors+ 1 EB. There is a good potential for the squishy to get squished.
Everyone has different play styles and different techniques for running these types of Masters tfs. I was simply stating my experience with these tfs. So maybe for you the STF is the hardest, for me I worry more about the ITF.
That's my point, though, Masque. You keep pointing out the danger of exploding crystals, when the danger does not even have to be there. They have enough HP that it is easy to get everyone that should not be in range, out of range. You can be out of range of the crystals exploding and still quite close to the team, and fairly safe in that regard.
We had the ambushes spawn in repeatedly on top of Talnar's head (and he was on a Stalker), partially because he was standing out from the group. Heck, I'd be hard pressed to think of a time when someone has died from one of the crystal ambushes on the ITF. Guess you have had some bad luck?

So Die Hard Killer would like to get the MoDrK badge. We could use a really good tank any other then that really anything works.
