The makers of this game have gotten into the bad habbit of announcing things way too soon, getting people excited and then making them wait way too long. Instead, why not delay the announcement of these things. If they were announcing Going Rogue for the first time right now, the wait probably wouldn't be so bad.

This is what it's like for us. Find out something like GR... and then we wait so freaking long for any type of news that we end up caring less and less about it.
It's almost like marketing waits til the day AFTER I/we care about it to say, "Ok nows good". When in fact it's not good. I/we care less about it. It's not as awesome because you missed the window of awesomeness, now it's just aight.
When I don't want it to be "aight". I want it to be the most awesome thing ever.
I know I will be excited to hear the news, but honestly... I will be less excited than if they told us information, yesterday. Because yesterday is when I was too the point of waiting to long.
For some of you, you will disagree. That is what it is like in my household, and that of my friends when they say what they say ingame. They just wait to freakin long. Don't announce something in October only to clam up about it for 4+ months.

Very interesting. I've been an NVidia user for many years, but those links are something to think about. Hmm, $122.99 for that HIS at newegg, not bad, beats the $300 I paid for the 7800 (back when it was brand new and on the edge, lol).

Meh, cashed out one hundred squidies (Approx £90-ish) for my Nvid 9800 gt, in the new rig. I'm pretty confident it can most of Ultra modes goodness as it is. I will be a tad miffed if it won't. But even then, I guess I'll be waiting for a gfx card price drop, because students aren't known for deep wallets.

I just got a brand spankin' new computer, couldn't afford it but my laptop died. So the game looks so much better now it's like a whole new experience. So while people sit here and chomp their bit over GR, I'm going to go play the game.

Don't give us any more info, spend as much time as possible doing going rogue stuff to make it even more mega awesome than it already is going to be.
I don't mind waiting 6 months for going rogue, as long as it has zones for lvl 1-50 it will be awesome!!!!!

Also, iirc they added the Ulterior and Vines costume pieces.
My time-frame may be slightly off, but still... new stuff.
Also, Issue 16 was released within the past 6 months.

I can't even understand why you would say that.
When was HeroCon? Was it last month? If it was last month then yes, I could fully understand all this stuff about being patient. But I am pretty freaking sure it was NOT last month, but in fact months and months ago.
4 avie pics and a NPC pic, is all we have gotten since then.
IMO, They announce things to early, and just want people to sit around and wait for too long.
They should have announced it January 1st, then the wait wouldnt be so looooooooooooooong.
I really think "marketing" does a horrible job for this game. Playing the wait game with paying customers is just 
With all the new releases and such in the MMO world over the past several months, I think holding off on the announcement would have hurt things a lot.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
