We need a Viking zone!
Sad to think of heathenism as a refuge for racists and supremacists
My Norse ancestors were all for letting women have property rights and leadership responsibilities. They traded with any and all, mingling their DNA throughout the world
Deeds, not words, make you known
There is no such thing as an "innocent bystander"
No.
My mother's mother was a Danish immigrant, and I still say "No".
This is a SUPERHERO game, not a Medieval/Fantasy game. We already have plenty of magic/time travel/fantasy in the game.
We need more Tech/Future/Sci-Fi.
We need a Moon/Space Zone. Maybe even an Underwater Zone. We don't need more historical/fantasy zones.
How about a religious zone? Like a hidden Knights Templar location or a Buddhist Monastery or something?

To be honest, if the game had unlimited funds and an unlimited number of programmers, I'd love to see several different time period zones in place. It seems kind of sad if the Midnighters only ever travel back to one specific time period. A medieval or viking zone would be cool. An Egyptian zone would be cool. A Victorian era zone would be cool, or a Wild West zone. All fun ideas, and I'm sad to think that most of them are probably just pipe dreams. Even one more zone reached via the Midnighter's club would be welcome.
You could combine a Victorian era zone with a Wild West zone -- after we get dual pistols it would be a fun addition. Also, you'd need Wild West zombies (Weird West), and some Steampunk tech (Wild Wild West) with an early version of Nemesis as one of the enemies (although I'm sure there were villain groups around back then that no longer exist).
So I guess I vote for two new zones: 1) A Victorian Steampunk Wild West Horror zone, and 2) Outer Space/Moon zone with Space Pirates and underwater swimming. And a big red ball.

A lost world zone in South America or Africa, with dinosaurs and a mysterious ruiend city would be cool too.

Well, yeah - being able to ride in-game would be important too

Um...there's a Viking zone in AoC. <3
If it's small and pink, it's probabley a Gnome.
A typical Cimeroran really does seem to be a man's man in every possible way.

But the Cimerorans are such manly men, they seem to hang out only with other men, which is surely a sign of them being so manly, there's simply no room for anything as unmanly as a woman in their lives?

Storm Summoning is great because it makes you better than everyone else in the game. - Camma

Hello this is the Ghost of Walt Disney introducing the one COH zone to please you all..... Disney goes Insane! We promise the Pirates of the Carribean will battle hord of disgusting smelly Viking (apologzes to our Nordic friends). Ninjas will battle Dinosaurs straight out of Jurrasic park all while attending High School on the new Moon Base! Heheh did I leave anyone out?
Future updates will include a band of evil Muppets bent on the detruction of earth. No I dont mean a villain group I mean the actual band from the Muppet Show with Animal on drums.
I think any of those ideas would be interesting. I myself have always been fascinated with the Japanese culture and would love to see an oriental zone with Ninjas, Samarai, and Warrior Monks.. along with that new GM mentioned.. a giant Dragon! Hey instead of 5th Column it could even have Tsoo involved in the Task Force attempting to summon the anceint spirit of some power Mage Warrior to help control all of Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
Were always the good guys. In D&D, were lawful good. In City of Heroes were the heroes. In Grand Theft Auto we pay the prostitutes promptly and never hit them with a bat. Leonard
Those women are prostitutes? You said they were raising money for stem cell research! Sheldon
The majority of the zones are all modern ones
![]() Underwater would be Atlantis - that's quite fantasy-ish ![]() |

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
There are many different underwater city precedents that are sci-fi. Even Atlantis is frequently depicted as some kind of unknown tech rather than magic.

Not that the Cimerorans don't have their share of questionable bumder tendencies, but some of the Cimeroran LTs were women last I checked.

Paragon City Search And Rescue
The Mentor Project
Granted it's not the most convincing photo there, but the info blurb does confirm that the Centurions are female. They're certainly less beefy than the Surgeons, Engineers, and Praefecti.
