There have been times when the Devs would let us know about the next couple of Vet awards many months in advance. There have also been times when the Devs were literally late with them and made us wait some number of days -after- an anniversary date to release a new build with the new awards in it.

It's possible the Devs may be so busy with the development of Going Rogue they might be late with the next Vet awards again. I suspect that even if we do hear about them in the next week or two that the 69th month one will likely be a fairly simple one again because they are too busy working on Going Rogue to make anything very fancy. *shrugs*

I'm guessing we're probably looking at another 45 month badge... which is to say, just a badge (possibly a costume token or respec if one is scheduled) with no "extra" reward, specifically because there has been absolutely no discussion of any upcoming Veteran Rewards.

I am willing to be pleasantly surprised if it turns out I am wrong, though.

I suspect it will include the fifth vetspec, seeing as all the others (I think) came on a "9 month" badge (i.e. 9 months, a year and 9 months, 2 and 9 months, etc.)

Hopefully there will be a little something extra for flavor, but I will be happy with just a vetspec. After all, what's the best kind of stuff? Free stuff.

Debt barely slows down levelling these days. It's just a little bar that measures how much Awesome you've generated recently. (If you're not getting debt, you're just not trying to generate Awesome hard enough.) -Kelenar

Nobody with borked awards schedules has recieved it yet, which means it's not in game yet. And we haven't seen a patch hit test in a long time.

If there is a patch prior to GR or tentative 17, my money is on "oh, here, have more respecs." Meh.

They announced the new Vet Rewards today:

Indeed, the 69 month reward is just the badge and a vet respec. Not terribly thrilled about the 72 month reward either... or rather, it feels like it should have been made available earlier. Oh well, free stuff is free.

Really? That's too bad you long time vets don't get yet another highly powerful power just because you got in early... I heard about this game before beta, but I didn't have the opportunity to start playing till a few years ago, and then had my account stolen from me, so I had to start all over. The servers will probably cease to exist before I finally get up to 72 months. Hell, I've had this account since Nov 09 and I just got my 9 month badge... Yeah, I wouldn't complain too much about your fortune, some of us just aren't that lucky...

Just my opinion, feel free to disregard...

Seriously: I'm guessing the "badges" weren't in game until yesterday. According to my accelerated schedule, I'd be dinging them around the 6th of the month now, but this was nearly two weeks after that. I'd be fine if they withheld badge availability 'til the week of the technical anniversary. As someone would state, it'd be nice if they fixed it, but withholding the badge data 'til the scheduled anniversary would be a good patch until they figured out why there's account anniversary creep.

So yeah, got the badge. Freespec is always nice. Wish the badge name for 69 month was "Rico... Suave", but that's me. XD

It's interesting...I would've thought that the badges required a patch. It would seem that they require both a patch...and a switch flip of some sort. I'm thinking the badges were in the game earlier and to avoid any earlybird awarding, they flipped the switch at the last maintenance.

So...why didn't they flip it on the 26th. Weird.

And yeah, it's true that you "shouldn't have it," but it's not worth getting bent out of shape over, and I appreciate your previews. I'll be getting mine next week+, then (Feb. 1). At least, I have plenty of other issues to get my dander up over.

My bad, meant Nov '08. And I never got around to registering for the forums with this account till last August. Those who know what I've been through lately, know just why I wasn't able to register.

For the record I've never been "bent out of shape over" this.
I just have this silly misguided desire for games like this to follow their OWN rules about the way anniversary based awards are supposed to work.

I just saw this thread so I thoght I would look u when I'm upposed to get the 69 month badge. It should be today but my account info says not untill April. Do I talk to support or PM a red name toget this issue fixed.

Yes I had a similar problem with my last one. I checked my account and saw that apparently the last 4 vet badges all awarded on the same date, which of course is impossible. Support was able to completely recalculate my vet badges to clear up the issue.
