The computerized voices add a certain level of hilarity to this, too. It's like robots can't even believe the AE babies, to some extent.
I did have a conversation like this, too. I tried getting the genius to come to Talos Island, and he really did ask "is that near Atlas Park?" Hilarious. I was actually patient with him and tried getting him there, but he apparently thought it was too difficult and just quit out the team.
