If we were to ever get universal server access I'd make a second home on Triumph cuz it's my ride - but sadly it's not happening any time soon

I'd miss them and all, but I NEVER play my 50's, they're just sort of like banks for my lowbies. I've got 5 50's and one at 47 I'm sure that I could get to 50 before the cutoff, so that would free up 6 slots between my 2 accounts...

It strikes me as a nice gesture but also stands are a sad reminder that after all this time I still can't invite my own alts into my SG.

It is only a good deed when it is equitable and well thought out.
As it stands it is neither for a significant number of the paying customers!

Wish i known before i paid 270 million in market fees when i stripped down my brute and transfered it via the market. Oh well i wont get much use of it now since i really don´t have any toons i want to transfer over to defiant or to union. Maybe a 50 hero to defiant.

I'm getting "bent out of shape" as you put it because it's another example that demonstrates how little regard the NCSoft and Paragon Studios respectively hold the EU subscribers and community.
Were they to couple this offer with universal server access I'm sure it would be universally lauded on both sides of the pond and would make the community stronger as a whole.
However in failing to do that it's another case of blatant favouritism I'm sad to say.

Sorry SS but I dont see your point, yes it may be a little restrictive for german/french servers but on the other hand what difference would them moving to Union have to them having the option to move to say Virtue, would there be more german speakers there? you cannot say for sure.
As for saying you feel short handed I as an EU player see the benefit of this, ive got a good home on Union, but still have some old toons on Deviant ( Sorry GG ) I could transfer over and vice versa for my unused ones on Union.
Correct me if im wrong but the way you are coming across is that your personal feelings over this mean that all EU players are feeling left out, sorry but theres one here who is simply grateful they have given us something for *free*
This isnt a personal dig at you but just wanted to stand up as an EU player who is thankful and doesnt feel like we are unappreciated in anyway, but hey maybe thats just me.

It's not favoritism. It's just easy to play the martyr. Many folks on this side of the pond won't have a use for the free transfers either. Are they supposed to feel slighted because they were given a gift they can't use either?
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
I hope the former, but i fear the latter. We shall see...
I know I, and much of the group I am in (HUB, and FL) were in the process any way. I think this will have it happen much quicker. I moved 6 toons off of Triumph today.
