I'm an Invention Salvage horder. My Vault is full, my character inventory is full, my WW slots are full, and I have 8 storage bins full of Invention salvage. I have the storage vault item placed on the wall in my base so I don't need to actually go to the building in a zone, just my base.

I stopped using it a long time ago. Anytime I have salvage I either use it or sell it. When the time comes that I need it I can always buy it later. This way I have one less thing to worry about and waste time on by running back and forth, "did I have one of those? Oh, thought I did, back to the market."
