So bored at the moment figured id come on here and ask some random question. What Coffee do the main scrapper populace drink cause i know i can't keep my head up unless I've had a nice couple of cups of my black silk in the cabinet :P. Then I'm ready to go run in the middle of a mob and just create havoc!!!!!!

Can I choose none?

Seriously. As Douglas Adams wrote "... too hot to drink quickly and too nasty to drink cold."

I drink some sodas, mainly Coke, Mr. Pibb/ Dr. Pepper and once in a while, Sprite, and McDonald's and Sonic Sweet Tea (the only good thing Sonic offers, too, their food is bland and overrated) and Green Tea.

The general opinion that coffee is loaded with caffeine, is verifiably false. A 1 ounce Hershey's Bar has more than an 8 ounce cup of coffee, and tea, if it's boiled, not made in a coffee maker, also has more.

It's the heat that make people make feel more awake, because it opens their blood vessels and vitalizes them.

Above diatribe aside, coffee is overrated and my least favorite time of the day is when I get off work in the morning and stop by my local convience store and see people fixing their coffee, and it takes some of them longer to fix their drink then it does for me to cook a t-bone well done.

I only drink water. I know, I know, how dull.

I like Costa Rican, Guatamalan. Italian roast. grind at time of using coffee press.

For the Kuerig system I like Emeril's Big easy and green mountain Dark Magic

I prefer ingest caffeine in it's unadulterated form: Mountain Dew, and the various variants thereof.

I drink copious amounts of Coke. And occasionally insta-coffee when I go camping or backpacking

I pretty much drink any coffee going. At home I cycle through fairly general Columbian, and Nicaraguan, then throw some dark roasted in for variety.

Made strong and without cream or sugar.

At gaming cons its a 4-6 shot Americano, 2-3 times a day from wherever I can get it.

I pound cafe mocha protein shakes - milk, Syntha-6 mochachino protein powder, and Macrobolic chocolate meal replacement powder. Mmmmm, tasty! If you close your eyes and try real hard, you can almost fool yourself into thinking it's some chilled coffee drink. It's almost not gross.

Yuban is my coffee of choice at the moment for normal home brewing.

When I want to spend the $4.38 on a cup from outside of home, I hit Dazzle Coffee in Pflugerville for a 4shot latte with 2 raw sugars and whipped cream. Can't recall what kind of coffee they use, but it is some yummy stuff.

I generally drink about 14-18 cups of coffee a day. My travel mug holds 3-4 cups.

Why, yes, I AM a stimulant junkie.

Bill, I always forget that you're also a Texan until you mention places I recognize. Considering how many other people I've met that are from Central Texas, I really wish we could put together a central Texas meet and greet.

Tim Horton's, whenever I can get my husband to go out and get me some. I don't know what they do with their coffee, but you can't replicate it at home, even if you can get your hands on the actual coffee grinds they use. The stuff they sell in the tins is not the same.

Most of the time it's just regular Dark Roast, cause it's cheap and I drink so much of it.

I am totally not surprised to see how many people in this forum are hepped up on caffeine all the time.

Coffee....the sky is actually spitting out some small snowflakes which does not happen much here in College Station, Texas, so a cup of coffee sounds wonderful right now.

I have been brewing an HEB Brand of coffee called Breakfast Blend lately. With a small dollop of Coffe-Mate's Cinnamon Vanilla Creme it is very good stuff.

And I am going to go brew a pot as soon as I poke submit

Lisa.

Nothing is better than 7-11's house blend with INTERNATIONAL (not coffee mate) hazelnut cream.
Just got myself a cup.

ooo Nicaraguan is good!!! basically any Mexico and Latin American is great stuff.

and yes, black. if you have to add cream and sugar, then you really don't like the coffee. But I have been known to add some O'Mara's irish cream to my coffee, but that wasn't for flavor

Umbral, were you at the meet and greet at Dave and Busters here in Austin a few years back? Was rather festive and I'd dig NCSoft throwing another one here.

Werner, I may be hitting you up for info soon. Went through a few months of hittin the weights and slamming chocolate Muscle Milk in milk. (sooo gooood. not the stuff in stores, the big vat of powder I'd mix with organic 2% milk) Felt awesome for a while, then got lazy as hell again.

Saw snow, with full sunlight pouring through lighting it up, as I drove back in to work from lunch. I miss snow.

Be well, people of CoH.
