Justice rocks. We do everything. Regular Hami raids. Several active global channels. Easy to get teams. Tons of active players. There is a little bit of everything.

All of these channels are slightly different but would probably serve your needs okay. Suggest joining all of them. There's also an Aussie channel out there somewhere, I think it's called Australia ? Probably someone knows.

How large is the Villian population?
It's not really large from my understanding but it's not completely dead either. It can be hard though I haven't really had a problem when I team that side, finding a team from broadcast/lf menu so suggest you utilize the channels.
I find that player-run events break up the grind and are generally a lot of fun, how often are these held? I have no idea we do Hami Raids, and Mother ship raids I think a couple times a week? maybe more or less here and there. People host PvP events here and there, and other major events as well. If you scrolled down through the Justice Forum you'd probably get an idea on the major events, the Raids are usually listed on those channels in the MOTD. Also there's a Saturday matinee which is announced here for sign up on the boards

Join one or all the channels listed above now, and you'll get a good feel of what Justice is like even before entering the server. Most of the time you'll see TF/SF recruiting on those channels and teaming requests there too along with the general chatter.
You'll find that Justice certainly is a different place than Freedom.
Having sent a lot of time on Champion and in their main global channel over the last few months, I'll say this: Justice is way, way more busy, especially red side. There seem to be more people in globals pugging on Champion. The global channels on Justice are wayyyyyyyyyy more liberally moderated....WAY more. seriously: way.
Drama is not unknown to erupt in one or all of justice's globals, but it usually makes for some good lulz if you don't get sucked in.
I've played on Pinnacle a bit, too, and it's way more like Champion than it is like Justice--granted it's its own entity, but it's *more* like Champ.
Having played 4 years on Justice, I enjoy Champion for the quiet. I've met some solid folks over there and had some very good teams, but Justice is home and is just generally more frenetic.
ETA: RV was fairly consistent a few months back. I've been out of game alot lately, so I can't say for sure now, but there is a reasonably large group of consistent PvP folk and RV is the main zone for their mutual mas....erm PvP shenanigans. I sometimes venture in there to help one side or the other grief its rivals; it's about as friendly and good natured as a PvP zone can possibly be, and likely busier on any given night than any RV other instance in game other than Freedom's.
One final note: Justice is the Unofficial Australia/NZ server, so it has a variety of people on during the hours you'll likely be playing.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

The options here are either rip Tal for being "slightly used" or defend Talia. Both have their wn merits. Both have their own risks. I prefer the jerk card, so I'll go ahead and say that Tal is more than slightly used. She isn't "Ele being _____ out of a cake" used, but she's certainly not Manoa Pure. Nor is she at Kat's level of, umm.. Yeah. But Ele has quite a few dings on her! Hardly rates as flawless on my rating scale!

Justice is a good balanced population. It's not empty (though the Villain side usually has less traffic than the Hero side), but it's not so crowded that every time you Super Jump you land on a moron.

I'm currently lookin' for another server to play on and I've narrowed it down to Pinn and Justice, I originally started on Champ 12 months ago and would consider it my home away from home but I've heard good things about Justice and wouldn't mind makin' it my holiday house.
