server in a single list before GR
I've got no objection to merging the server lists and allowing friends to play with one another across the pond. But I fail to see how that relates to being able to play GR in any way, shape, or form.

everything is difficult, if not find a team
Of course, GR may well draw more people in (or back, for those who only come back for issues, expansions, and events.)
That said, the game is very small team/solo friendly.
I wonder if this might have the opposite result of what you're hoping - the EU servers might become even LESS populated, as people migrate to Freedom, Virtue, etc, looking for higher populations. Nevertheless, I like the idea of the server lists being merged - bigger pool of people to enjoy the game with, all-around.

So basically this is the same topic you started a while ago HERE?
While I wouldn't mind a server list merge I fail to see how this has to do with GR.

I believe it would be nice if the lists merged into one, it would eliminate the problem of buying two versions of the game based on location. I know I actually lost money because when I was running the trial I didn't realise that it was based on the US server list, and foolishly brought the european version thinking it was the same thing.
I may be in the UK but I still want to keep the progress I made during those 14 days.
But then of course there would be that migration problem. EU players going off to the high-pop US servers for 'better teaming' that could leave those EU servers less populated and Freedom and Virtue stressed out. But more likely than not, it'll just mean that the timezone difference between the two server groups will increase the average minimum players online throughout the day.
When the US players are all heading to bed, the EU players would still be in the middle of their playing day. And about the time the late-nighters in Europe are calling it a night, the early birds of the US are logging on. It might not be as simple as that, but that is the benefit of timezones.

Its also possible that players on the NA servers who have no slots left, will join the EU servers, for more slots....

No, it only makes sense if the NA player wants to broaden his/her horizons and meet people playing the EU version.
Doubtful. No offense to the EU players, but why would an NA player pay $15 extra bucks a month to get 48 more slots when he can get 132 extra slots for the same price by getting another NA account.

IMO a server list merge is the single most important improvement the devs could make for EU players, and the sooner the better.
Lets finish the job begun with the forum merge!

There's not much reason I can think of not to merge the server lists. It's not a server merger (with all the chaos and doom associated with them) but merely a bookkeeping convenience. I say merge them lists! /signed.

a suggestion, put the server in a single list because here (Europe) are very few, especially villan.
Playing GR will be very difficult or impossible.
