Flippy animations for acrobatics?

Can we get flippy jumps like the Ninja Run when acrobatics is toggled on? It doesn't have to increase the size of the jumps or speed of run, or even give people any new bonus. Thank you for listening.

I have to admit one of my favorite things about CO is their animations on their Acrobatics travel power. I would squee like an angst filled tween girl watching Twilight if we had similar animations here.

I take Acrobatics for the Hold/Knockback Protection, even if it doesn't fit with a good number of my characters.

As soon as Power Customization is expanded to Power Pools to include a No FX option to Acrobatics, then SURE! Go for it!

Soooo...you don't want any acrobatic element for your acrobatics?

No, I don't. Not in the slightest. If I could, I wouldn't take any of the Leaping pool powers, I'm just using it for the Hold/KB protection.

This is the Acrobatics version of the classic Hasten debate. Many people would like to use the speed-up effects of Hasten without the flame animations.

I agree with your point about this. It might be cool to have some new animations applied to Acrobatics only as long as there's finally a "no animations" option allowed for the pool powers. I don't want to be stuck with hardwired animations I shouldn't have to be stuck with.

Just because you don't want it doesn't mean others don't. That is what we call optional. But really this should be a alternate animation for super speed whenever travel power customization comes out. (thinks about requesting rikti style teleport for teleport customization)

Friends don't let friends buy an ncsoft controlled project.

That's what he said. Optional.

Until it can be done with alternate animations, no.

I for one think CO's acro animations are silly as hell.

Cottage Rule.

^ this, pretty much.

Options are great. Being stuck with something your not too fond of isn't.
I've never had to take acrobatics, simply because I tend to avoid like the plague those sets with such huge holes. Dark armour I managed to live with till 32, then quit. Ninjitsu is the only one I can live with, due to IO -KB slotting and inherent awesomeness.

Optional feature is cool.

I've only taken 1 character with acrobatics, so I wouldn't really care either way. I'd definitely get behind the 'no effects for power pools' idea though.

Yeah, I once suggested something visual to make characters with acrobatics actually seem...well....acrobatic but I can get why its not everyone's cup of tea. The only way to mess with some of these powers after so many years is only if any changes are optional.

Overall, I'd like to have the ability to add some personal flare to how my characters behave when idle and how they battle. The color customization and alternate animations were a step in the right direction but I'm hoping that the customization process continues to evolve.
