Okay I really do but I am making myself a little witchy-boo and I am dumbstruck on her power's. Her name's Witchery and I've even got the costume worked out. But I haven't got a clue as to what would be good powers. I am a roleplayer so I want them to match her being a witch..but i just don't know. I was considering Fire..but like I said. I don't know.

That's just it I'm not sure what I want her to be. Clearly either a blaster, defender or controller I just don't know which. I think I would like her to do some damage though cause I tend to get frustrated with characters who cant do any.

Well, most of the Cabal have various powers from different sets. They use:

Various powers from "Storm" including gale, hurricane, lightning storm. They also use lightning powers such as Lightning bolt and ball lightning. I know a few have charged brawl and storm strike melee attacks. One of the bosses uses all sonic attacks. All of them seem to be able to fly also.


As far as the Coven they seem to use limited dark powers such as Midnight Grasp, dark blast, gloom, Petrifying Gaze and Tenebrous Tentacles.

I would go with a fire/rad then tint everything to your liking. You'll be able to weaken and bind enemies with your "spells" and summon three little beasties to your aid. It can be quite witchy if you want it to be.

Ketch makes a good point. With the power customisation you can almost change any set to something more suitable to a witch.

For the classical Cabal witch, you might try a storm/elec defender.

Or you could go an illusion/storm controller since Illusory Wounds does good damage, (for a little while) and your character name reminds me strongly of the Dewitchery Diamond.
And you could also make an alternate costume like one of the Phantasmal Army.

Fire/Dark Corrupter

Fire for the flash bank good old cliche witch craft, dark miasma for communing with the dark side of magic.

Plus, you will have the advantage of having a powerset combo that not only fits the character, but synergies into an amazingly fun and very powerful combo.

fire/dark corruptor maybe? tar patch and rain of fire are good together, you get a pet at lvl 38, good aoe, self heal, team rez, set could look very witchy with some color-tweaking.

i'm rather fond of Plant/Rad for a nature-themed witch.
Mind/Storm is pretty witchy in my opinion.
Perhaps a Fire/Mental Blaster?

i once made a Dark/Rad Defender named Swamp Witch. Turns out that i'm not as fond of Radiation Blast as i'd hoped. Still debating whether to remake her (probably as Plant/Rad) when GR comes out.

If you are going Wiccan style maybe Plant/Storm (You can do that right?)

More of a "Nature" witch over the traditional "Dark magic" user, since in ye olde days Witchcraft was only an occult study to Christians, where as pagan practices almost always revolved around manipulating natural cycles and whatnot.

I've already got a stormer and I really don't like repeating. Plus i've never had an emp before.

That would work Lime, and ultimately it is your toon. Go with what you want.

Well even though I loved my earthy themed costume a friend has told me that fire/therm is quite good so I may try that and if not, well I can switch.

and this was the original. Which I still greatly prefer D=.



I am still considering plant/emp or plant/rad and making the rad look kind of like fire. Just cause I love the costume but Idk.

Just tint the fire green with the power customization. Even in the real world fire comes in several colors, so why can't magical flames in a game world be green?
