I had a weird dream with CoX elements

I dreamt I was at the siege of Beijing by Eight-Nation Alliance troops during the Boxer Rebellion. There were Chinese guys in Ming Dynasty (for some reason) costumes with halberds charging international troops with rifles. I was sneaking about, observing the battle with Sprint toggled on, since I had a Celerity: Stealth slotted in it. I accidentally wandered too close to a man in a green shirt, who aggroed on me. He wasn't a soldier. He grabbed my arm, which suppressed my stealth, so I ran about for a bit (dragging him along) to try and lose him. This didn't work so I punched him in the face and made him pass out, then hid behind a pillar so my stealth would unsupress.

Then I woke up.

I need to play this game less.

I have had so many COH dreams... I mean, starting out by waking up with my hands in the air, wondering why I can't get the controls to work right (durr, that's because there's no keyboard and mouse in your sleeping hands), running around a neighborhood which must have come straight from Steel Canyon's lower areas, designing characters, chat room disasters and paranoia.... I've seen it all

I've sometimes had dreams where I'm a superhero, but nothing actually from CoH - and I dream about horses way more anyway

I've dreamed about City several times, but I never remember details. I remember after one DXP weekend (where I took days off and slept very little), I dreamed three nights straight about full-team steamrolling madness. It made me take the next DXP weekend much more lightly.

While I have, rather embarrassingly, had dreams about Co- had dreams that include City of Heroes/Villains, it's normally one part of a normal dream. Like, I'll visit a friend, and they're playing it. Or this other time, me and a friend were sitting on a bench talking, only the bench was in Salamanca.

No dreams here yet, although the other day I was outside smoking after playing for a bit and kept 'hearing' the new tell beep and looking around for the source. I'm still not sure whether that was an auditory hallucination or there was a neighbour with a beepy thing.

My ex-girlfriend calls me every other week or so to tell me about how she had an awesome dream about being her badass robot CoH character. What really sucks is that she left to worship the WoW-devil over a year ago.

I, on the other hand, never get to have awesome CoH dreams, so I remain annoyed and jealous.

Funny thing is, on the day the OP was made, I had had a dream the night before where I was in a new zone, I think it was a Blueside exclusive, but basically it was a new beach area, kind of gloomy with a military outpost, kind of like the Normandy shoreline in WWII, when the zone announcement came... In that zone and the Villains equating zone, the Council were unleashing their giant mechmen.
At first I thought, "okay, so we're getting a new GM for this zone, cool." Lord how wrong I was...

It wasn't a giant Mechman, it was TWO MASSIVE WARCRY robots. And I mean MASSIVE, everyone was suffering from targetting issues because of how huge they were, and we could see them coming from more than 800 yards off, in the end we got our vehicle temp powers to help bring them down as well as used the artillery placements, but I missed the end of the fight since I decided to flip to someone else.
