I ran several, over the weekend, and didn't have any problems getting tickets.
I had 118 tickets, so I cashed them in for a single bronze roll and some salvage. Got a crushing impact recipe that sold for 2 million and 2 luck charms. The othe salvage I sold to a vendor. Still no tickets thou.

Were they Dev's Choice no Tickets on those missions, they act like normal missions for drops.

If you've been gone a while, chances are good that the arcs you used to run haven't been updated with the proper mix of bosses, LT's and minions... I generally run +1/ vs 6 solo. And I usually don't have a problem when the missions have been adjusted...
All boss or all LT probably won't drop a single ticket, and some of the old arcs are sitting there clogging up the system...

Either on purpose or by accident (I'm not judging here, frankly I don't give 2 hoots about how other folks want to play) you were probably running one of the old (pre-change) farms. The recent changes to require full mix of mob types in custom factions is likely causing those old missions to not work anymore.

How to you determine if an AE mission is set to the new requirements ???? I really want to earn tickets. And the stories I ran last had minions, Lt's, and a boss in them. They were all custom creations.

Try running a sanctioned mission, either one of the guest author, a dev's choice (with ticket drops chosen) or a hall of fame and see if you still don't get any.

Even the nerfed boss farms still give tix, just at a very low rate. To the OP, if you cant find a good farm, just make one and place boss, lt. and minions in it. I run one and cap tix at 1500 per run and run it a couple times a day, so it isnt broken.

Because we are allowed to totally customize the creatures' powers, this was put in place to keep players from making extremely easy critters and farming them for XP/tickets.
It's a bit of overkill, since customs are usually a bit tougher than dev minions, but they are trying to find a balance to keep exploits out.
So after a few months away I ran some AE stories last night while waiting for the banner event to happen. I ran 3 stories and did not get one ticket to drop nor did I get a ticket bonus after each story. Did they stop giving tickets for AE with the AE nerf ???? The stories I ran were very short on my 50 spines/regen with settings at 1 level below me and mobs set to be like 4 heroes. I did not run any hall of fame or dev's choice, just stories listed as very short. Did my settings affect the ticket drops ??? What happened. I want to start getting tickets for the bronze recipe rolls again.
