Tried it several times and with an open mind each time. The graphics are awful. I can't get past that cell shading look they used. I could not make it past the tutorial everytime I tried the game. It does not compare to CoH or even come close as a replacement. I have played many mmo's and CoH has been the best by far. I doubt I will ever play another mmo again unless we get another superhero one and even then they will probably mess it up and make it unenjoyable and not very super like. Long live City of Heroes ! ! ! ! ! !

Are you hitting Print Screen ???? That is the default button for screen shots. Are you looking in the CoH folder for the screenshot folder ??? It should be on your C drive in the program files (x86) folder.

Agreed......In the days that have past since the news I have started looking at new games to try and take the place of CoH and so far nothing comes close. I tried Secret Worlds free trial. Did not like it. It took almost half an hour before I could start doing anything. Graphics were nice and the story seems interesting and in the end it is not for me. I like the ability to create your character and just go like with our tutorial or skipping it and going right to defeating bad guys in atlas park. Champions. Simply awful. I can't get past that shaded cell look they use for the game. Decent character creator but not enough to keep me interested. I am currently eyeing the Transformers Universe MMO that is in development.

Just a thought..............would you be willing to pay up to $19.99 per month to keep the game going ? ? ? I know I would. Let me know and maybe we can start a new petiton to show how many players would be willing to pay more to keep the game alive and maybe just maybe if NCsoft saw that they would reconsider with all that new cash coming in every month.

That is cool what The Matrix and Star Wars did before the shut down. My only other MMO I played extensively was a racing game called Motor City Online. They let us know when the final day was, gave players access to all cars regardless of level and unlocked all the tracks regardless of level. It was a blast. I so wish they had a least given us Issue 24 with a new name to reflect the end and other goodies till the lights go off.

Creating my first hero HotFlash, a fire/fire blaster. I had dreamed of it for years since I was a kid and CoH let it come true. I remember getting fly at lvl 14 and it was the greatest and is still the best travel power in the game. I remember joining a team in Skyway right after release and the team giving me props for the best costume they had seen in the game so far. Hitting lvl 50 with him after 854 hours of game time as he was the only hero I made. He is my main hero and I will miss him flying over the city.

Yesterday the bomb from hell was dropped on all of us loyal CoH players that effective immediately all activites on the game would stop, the staff was let go and the servers will go offline Nov 30th 2012. I was shocked and saddened and my heart broke in two as I read this news. Surely it must be some sick and twisted joke from someone who hacked the website. Alas, as the day grew longer I realized it was true, my favorite game in all my 41 years of playing games was coming to an end. Sadness turned to anger. Anger because we did not get closure and the proper time to say goodbye. I feel as if my best friend was just killed in a car wreck. Shocked and in dismay. Angry because they did not give us a proper goodbye. Angry because they could have at least gave us Issue 24 and renamed it to fit with the end. Angry because we as players feel cheated by the mighty dollar once again as NCSoft did this in a manner to make their 3rd quarter reports look better to their stockholders. I personally will NEVER buy an NCSoft product again due to their heartless nature. I have played many other MMO's that went offline for whatever reason and we were always given advance notice and they made the game fun till the lights went out but instead we are given a a you know what up the you know where with no lube what so ever. I can't speak for everyone but I know many must feel the same. See you all in game on Freedom till the end.

I made a water/ice blaster and gave him the name Hydro Chill. I am loving ever second of this new power set.

Best $5 I have spent in a long time

Last night was awesome. I spent $5 for 400 points so I could get the water blast set as I did not want to wait for the next month and Hydro Chill was born. I entered a costume contest after the tutorial and won. That was the first time I have ever won a CC in the 8 years I have been playing since release. Like I said, awesome. My prize was a free trip thru an AE farm. Normally I do not farm but I did not really want to grind thru all the same stuff again for the 50th time so I went for it and one hour later I was lvl 26. Even more awesome. The best part was the 4 man team was totally active and we all chatted for well over an hour about a bunch of stupid stuff while we helped clear the map as best as we could. These are the nights that make me keep sticking with CoH after I go and try other games. CoH rules. Thanks to all on the team last night.

I will give that a try as I have not run the solo mission for each contact cause they honestly sound boring

I just complted the Max arc in DA and unlocked PD but when I call her she tells me she is busy and won't give me any missions. I am trying to complete all the arcs to earn the rewards from Taskmaster Gabriel. I have no active missions and I am not on any TF's or in a league or team or anything. What gives ??? Why won't she talk to me

Just found the elevator.....it was hiding in a path near the stairs in a super dark area of the map......Black Scorpion went down super fast thanks to my little lore pets

I am running the mission from the contact Max in the new DA to recover Slinger from the Arachnos and I have to defeat Black Scorpion but the problem is that I can't find him anywhere on the map. I have run it twice so far. Am I missing something ??? Is it a known issue with this mission ???? Let me know what I am missing.

I didthe same thing last night..........flew all over the place and cleared the map and never saw him.......even flew up to where the marker was and saw no opening in the forcefield.....I will give it another shot tonight

You need to have GR to get there I believe. I could not get there till I bought it.

They are doing upgrades for the upcoming launch of Freedom. They want to make sure everthing is ready so they won't have to take the servers down.

You should use the video card you had lying around and upgrade the power supply to at least 500 watts and the RAM to 4GB and you should have a whole new play experience

I use the SeaGate DOS HDD utility to check HHH. It's free and works well.

This why I stick with Nvidea. Never once had a problem with their cards in the 7 years I have played this game or on any other game either. ATI drivers and their constant crashes are the devil.
