The Ouroboros Initiation (25-50), given by Pilgrim, has an instanced mission in Outbreak with plenty of Contaminated to get the badge in 1 run. You're EX'd to lvl 1 while you do it, but the good news is the new SSK feature lets you keep your first couple powers as well.
(Plus, the Nemesis Staff or Sand of Mu takes them out in one shot!) lol

Not only that, but there is also a mission in the same arc to easily aquire the Shivan badge as well. Depending on what your current progress looks like and how well you can solo these foes, you may need to increase your mob spawn and/or reset the mission a couple of times to get enough for the badge though.

Also, keep in mind that there is a difference between the Contaminated in Outbreak, and the ones that you can find around the city sometimes, especially those in Mercy Island villain-side.

The ones you might see in Mercy and rarely in other areas of Paragon City are actually in a group called "Infected", so they wont count.
As mentioned, they have to specifically be in the group called "Contaminated", and IIRC, besides the Tutorial and the above arc.. there might still be 1 (ONE) that spawns rarely (very rare) in Recluse Victory as well, so that's certainly not an ideal place to hunt for them. lol

That's the whole point to the Ouroboros intro mission. It tells you how to go back and re-do things you have already done.
Yes, you can do the initiation again. Just go to the aspect pillar.

Concerning the OP's question about redoing the Ouroboros Initiation:
An arc can be repeated via Flashback once you have outlevelled it, or, for missions that go to 50, when you reach 50. Since the Ouroboros Initiation is level 25-50, you can't redo it until 50. If you ARE 50, you will find it in the "Hero of the City" section of the crystal.

You know, something just dawned on me concerning GR.
If you start blueside, and switch to redside, and go to Ouroboros, do you do a breaking out of jail arc? If not, you could still take along your fully-villain buddies and have them get Isolator...?

I've been working on my badges and have yet to figure out how to get the badge for eliminating Contaminated. My search of this site seems to indicate that you can ONLY meet these guys in the first opening missions of character creation. I find that hard to believe, since there's a badge for it - but you never know.
Anybody know of a way I can find some Contaminated to earn that badge? I looked in Oroborous but none of those looked like what I wanted. But I could have missed something. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!
