I think you even get merits without the badge, i know that my lvl 34 MM got merits last time he joined a Mothership Raid - not that he has any use for them.

THERE IS NO AGE RESTRICTION ANYMORE ON THE RWZ OR ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF CIMEMORA, OROBOROS AND THE PVP ZONES! THEY TOOK AWAY THE RESTRICTION IN I16
Seriously, I had a level 20 on a raid recently. It was a blast. Super Sidkicking makes it so much fun.

Cimerora: You still need access to Midnighter Club first.
Ouroboros: The portal still can't be used if you're not lvl 25.
All the Hazardzones and the RWZ are unlocked though, not sure about the PvP ones.

Actualy I have a 29 controller with the badge and merits, I used the mission porter to get it into the RWZ at lvl 4, I got a bunch of merits off of mission completes from the day job badge and it would be interesting to see if I got more on the raid.
Now lets start the stop watch and see how long it takes for synapse to take my badge
Perhaps I can wiggle my fingers and make it happen.

I'm hoping I can get enough for some cool Vanguard stuff from this. I got the Member of Vanguard Badge specifically for this party. 
aww, started at lvl 29 with 34 vanguard merits, ended at 30.9 with 34 vanguard merits, looks like theres a level requirement as well as the badge requirement to get the merits

For 3 years running, the Cape and I have always thrown a Halloween Bash. But we've traded in our dance shoes for Vanguard Merits this year to make it a more interactive event for everyone!
When: Fri. Oct. 30th @ 8pm-12am est.
Where: Rikti War Zone 1. If it's a good turn out, we'll do it RWZ2 as well.
