Exploration badge maps?

Has anyone made maps that can be seen online that have the locations for all the explore badges highlighted?

Where could I find those?

You can view the maps there or download a map patch which replaces the current in game maps with ones that show an icon for each explore badge.

Another resource is Paragon Wiki which, although not a map per se, has in-game screen captures for the locations of individual exploration badges. Sometimes those badges can be tricky to find even with Vidiotmaps (the devs can be diabolical at hiding 'em ). The screen captures help a lot in those cases.

Agreed. A favorite trick seems to be to put them much higher or lower than ground level. There's one in Founder's Falls that is actually in a tunnel that runs *under* the main map, and that you aren't likely to notice. Especially if you're just aiming for the green Vidiot badge. And there's one in Faultling that you'll probably never find without assistance, unless you are *very* observant, extremely patient, and possibly also very lucky.

Vidiotmaps also has the interactive maps with the location coordinates for each badge. Which means all you have to do is to type in /loc and then match said coordinates with game location. Numbers returned from loc are N-S position, height, W-E position.

I'm not sure how busy TonyV is (so I don't know how up to date they are), but he also has provided in-game maps at:

Some of my favorite badges are ones in hard to reach places... and getting them without travel powers. With the exception of the badges on top of Atlas and City hall, and one on a power tower in KR, I'm fairly positive any exploration badge can be gotten at level 1 (non Epic AT) without any outside help, booster pack powers, or anything.

Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)

..except the exploration badges inside missions and lvl-restricted (pvp) zones.

Yeah, Ace would be a tough one for sure. I don't see any possible way up without some kind of powers... especially with the flare on the statue's boots, and absolutely no other tall structures around to jump over from.

Not that you care, but if you take a gander at the detail page of the explorations, we do have pictures to show exactly where they are as well.

For example:

I remember when we first found that badge when new Faultline hit test - we looked all over the map, with no luck, but then got underneath the map, looked around, and found it

Adding to the others people have pointed out thus far, good luck getting Whitecap (the one in the ship off of Talos) without a travel power or outside help that can make you jump higher than the rim of the ship.

On the subject of Vidiotmaps download, has anybody had any issues with the game crashing after installing it?

There is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look. For example, I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt. ~Author Unknown

Nope, never had any problems with it. Have it installed on both normal CoX and test CoX.
