A fair warning for players that this person is on a trial account and may be either:
1. Doing stupid things because they don't know any better. Perhaps with a little guidance they could be a good player.
2. Doing stupid things because they do know better. Perhaps a little caution is advised in dealing with these people.
3. An idiot that should just be ignored/avoided until their free trial runs out.
Problem is, until you talk to them, you'll never know which one it is and, by then, it might be too late.

Anyway - sure, let's add some sort of tag in the title or wherever else works. I don't think it "stigmatizes" the trial account, just let's everyone know to welcome the newcomer and that there are some things he/she can't do yet.

I'm all for this. Recently when I was trying to recruit for my SG I must have hit about five people who were all on trial accounts. Kinda awkward when you send them a /tell without realising they can't answer back. The idea of an auto-response akin to the AFK one is another good idea, too.

Yes, there are a lot of good ideas around here. I for one would like to know who has a trial account in case I'm feeling generous, because there's only so much Inf a trial account can have. I just hate over-promising when I can't actually give them more than 50k Inf

You know those yellow titles that the devs hand out at special events? I was thinking they'd make the perfect marker for trial accounts. Probably not yellow, but a gray "City Guest" or something on top of the character's name would be a great indicator.
With the limitations imposed in trial accounts, it's hard for them to get on a team and be shown the ropes of the game; if I could look at a character and immediately realize it's a trial account, it would be easier for me to offer my help.
