We're looking for a few good videos

This request is for all you film producers out there, the Community team is looking for fan produced CoH related videos for a number of potential uses. So if you have a fantastic movie of your character, or a special story you'd like to share in video form, please let us know!

Currently we're looking for the actual files, rather than a link to youtube or a similar type site. So if you have your videos up and ready for download, please shoot me a PM or post in this thread!

Would I be correct to assume that the videos you are requesting would need to be free of copywriten material? (Music videos set to popular music or movie audio)

I got some stuff just messing around, whats a good place to host the files so I can give it to Ocho?

I don't know if that's a restriction or not - I think they'd have mentioned it if it were. Better to submit stuff anyway and have to retract it than not submit stuff and find out you could have.

It all depends on what they're looking for - if they want character videos or music vids or "hey check out our SGs", that's different than what I do. Besides, I know the official PS videographer and am on good terms with him; he and I have joked that we keep each other on our toes to constantly improve our videos and how the community receives them.

I would like to ask, as Chrome did, as to where a good place to post the files of our videos would be?

Since this thread seems to be more active, I think the Guide to Demo-Editing and stuff (top sticky here) got it's formatting absolutely borked when we migrated forums =S

Thanks so much all who have posted their videos in this thread and those who have contacted me privately!

Without getting too much into specifics, we in the community team are often looking for ways to highlight our users' creativity, and video translates particularly well in certain venues. Any videos have potential to be used, but those which are free of legal constraint can be used in more diverse manners.

Similarly no time deadline is involved, although sooner is better as any opportunity we would have soon would rely on already existing videos.

I knew there was a reason I jump through these hoops these days when I make videos. By year's end, you should be seeing at least four new ones, all of which have music I have the rights to use.

Jeez, seriously dunno how I missed that. I thought I checked all the new videos by you.

I was gonna shoot you a YouTube mail asking if I could do a reference to your Catastrophe guys down the line (if I don't get sidetracked from continuing City of rejeX too much). Like 3-4 Issues away, I believe.

It's not that I don't think anyone likes them, it's that they're not really that professional... (compared to say something like Dark_Respite's or quite a few other jaw-dropping CoX vids I've seen around)
