Why where all the mitos taken away?

I made a new AETF a while ago,i've been trying to get peoples to test it but for various reason could'nt.

and now it's ruin because the Mitos are gone.one was already remouved so I had to only use the 2 others and now those 2 are also gone.

I spent a long time thinking and working on and TF and now I find out it was all for nothing.
Thanks a lot.

It's not like I can just replace them with other critters.

PLEASE!!! put them back.I want to do my TF.

I'm trying to think of a reason why they were available in the first place. There isn't one. The mitos and a few other mobs (the LRSF version of Ms. Liberty leaps to mind) never should have been available at all.

There are a few, VERY few, reasons to use Mitos. They were probably removed because adding the ability to scale scale enemies down below their proper level made them exploitable, and fixing that wasn't worth the effort, for the very very few people using them legitimately.

The LRSF version of Ms Liberty, there is no excuse for.

I dont see why i should suffer because some farmers use them.

I need Mitos for my storie.
The Dev need to had dont remouve.
I'd love to use giant monsters and Hydra tentacles.

If you really want Hydra tentacles, use random Hydra minions/Lts. (i.e., add the "random" option to your custom group) and lock the level range to 20-30-ish. You'll get the tentacles walking around.

Most of us don't want to suffer because of the farmers' behavior.
Blame the farmers, not the DEVs. Even more so, blame the exploiters - some (maybe many) of which were farmers (or, at least, acting in the manner of farmers at the time).

The Mitos were used as exploits in every instance that I ran into them in the AE. Albeit that there are 300k+ missions and I haven't run 1k of them, but still, even so.

If it is a good enough story, you can find a way to work around not having the Mito's regardless of what the story is about. If you can't have that visual image in the game then find away for the image to look different or explain that a fight is going on versus these things in a text instead of actual battle.

i16 had some great improvement. Anything that was removed from the AE was to improve the game in one way or another. I'm glad to see that they finally did what they needed to do.

I just wanna touch bases here on an offtopic topic. Farming within MA still yields 50% more xp then in most RC mishs. Unfortunetly, Altoholic has everyone on the forums ignored, therefore he kinda just acts like a schitzophrenik forum user.

I think i found a way to salvage it. but i'd still like mitos better

Bringing the Mitos back would undo all the Dev's work on trying to STOP AE farming. So it's definately a no-go; not just the community but the Devs as well.

Funny thing is, I know how to spell schizophrenia and the fact that it can, indeed cause multiple personalities. More precisely it causes hallucinations which are often confused with multiple personalities in person(s) of lesser communicative skills or by doctors who do not ask the correct questions.

Now, I kindly wish all of the vultures in this thread, or on the forums for this matter that simply -rep people becuase they joke around on a GAME forum to simply.. Stop? If you would be so kind.

Back to the topic.

It is not the fact that the Dev's remove certain items in and from the MA. They got their reasons but the very least they can do is give us an update. So the Architects can adapt their arcs accordingly. It would be even better if they could avoid removing things altogether, because we lose good arcs (I don't care about the bad ones) that way. A shame as not every author is still in the game.

Well no. If they wanted to they could make an AE specific clone of the mitos and set their XP to 0. But I think they know Mitos are such a niche mob with limited creative options that it's probably not worth the manhour investment to do so.

It's a pity the OP made a mish using that niche. Only thing I could advise is change the story of your mish so the Mito becomes some other insidious Devouring Earth creation and use a Custom Critter to represent it (maybe something Energy Aura based so it looks vaguely blobbish).

Can you maybe use Storm Elementals instead and change their names and bios etc? They look quite generically 'weird'.

I agree that its ashame the mitos are gone though. I wish they'd replaced all the exploitables with zero-xp versions. But we cant have everything.

Blame the devs for being lazy and not thinking before pushing something to live before it's finished and has properly gone through QA and closed beta.
