4. Costume Change Emotes to be definable via option panel, as opposed to having to write a bind for it.

As far as the random doors for TFs f Please no! We already have that in some (Manticore) and whenever doors get moved (like when the AE was added), they get messed up. Furthermore, the devs are moving AWAY from random doors - In GR, they've said that every building in Praetoria will have a purpose, and every mission will have a reason for being at the door (singular!) it's located at.

Do we have any possible dates for GR yet? Cause last I heard it was planned for second quarter.... If that´s so and I17 is going to be a "tie in" it will take longer than the other recent issues. I13 was last December, 14 April, 15 June and 16 September... Someway I´m not seeing it happening longer than the others mentioned, probably January or February. I´m still kind of upset November 27th came and all we got was a new entry to the "Story" site so I really would like to see something new before GR...
(On a side note Posi said they were thinking on I18 when they lunched I14... Possibly they´re thinking in I21 already...)

The fact that we have actual animations for powers that shoot toxins at you is great. You have the green venom blasts fro the Life Mages, Bile Spray from the Leviathan Epic, Venom Sprays from the Snakes and then you have the projectile vomit from the MM Zombies. I dont see why we cant have a powerset that gives us serious Toxic Dmg or even Smash/Toxic Dmg.

Just how the Freedom Phalanx have their own TF's how come we cant get Patromn SF's that are offered by the villain patrons? I was looking through Paragonwiki and the number of TF/Raids offered to Heroes pales in comparison as that of villains. To say that the Patron Arcs can be SF's holds true, give us patron SF's.

While the devs said that they learned their lesson from COH and didnt give villains tons of empty zones, they created a villain world that has few zones. I think they should break the rules and give us new zones. There are tons of smaller islands and maybe set up an underground transport system that will link Cap to Croatoa through an Arachnos submarine base.
They cant convert Dark Astoria into a CoOp zone that works as a story enhancer for The Midnight Club. Have Villains and heroes fight to save their livelyhood from the arcane factions that want to control the magic of Dark Astoria.
Give Siren's Call a revamp and make it a regular zone for either villains or heroes.

Broadsword Brutes. Villains deserve to have an AT with the ability to use Broadsword AND Shield, and honestly, it never made sense to give the Broadsword to Stalkers to begin with. Honestly, who do you picture more with a Broadsword? A sneaky guy or a hulking barbarian? Just my humble opinion.

What...make more zones that never get used? Or at least used rarely? Don't go adding more zones to redside. :P

I want to be able to access the Ero servers... and I'm sure they would like to access the U.S. Servers as well, I mean I really like to see what a Ero Server is like. I live in Japan (due to the military) but my account is American, and I can access the US servers and they're mostly the same, but I wanna be able to access the Ero Servers too.. Like Union for example. But not only that but I would like to see what the Asian Server is like too (no I don't know any Asian server names) but since there's the US Servers, and the Ero Servers and the Asian Servers. I would LOVE to be able to have all the servers open so I can access them all and see what it's like to play on them..
it's a thought nothing more..
P.S. I would love to see a Ms. Liberty and War Witch TF...

Just because WoW can do it, doesn't mean that it's not a lot of work. WoW was built with those skeletons in the game. CoX, did not. Now, it will take work to get them into the game, and more to get it done right (i.e., a dog would need a different skeleton and animations than a cat, which would need different animations and a skeleton of a bear, for example). And that comes straight from the animation Dev. Can it be done? Yes. Are there higher priorities from the Devs? Also yes. The people who would make these new animals would be the same people who would be working on new set animations for us. So, they can either create new sets, or new skeletons, which might not get used a lot in the longer run anyways. Obviously, the Devs think that creating new sets that anyone can use is a better use of resources. [/i], if done right. |

That certainly would appear to me to more of an animal skeleton than humanoid. I do agree with you there is a good deal of effort in adapting the skeleton for dogs, birds, horses, and what not. But perhaps if enough people keeps asking for them, the priority for them may improve.

Okay, I know you're new here, and weren't around for the original incident, but the very reason that Suggestions and Ideas is in For Fun now, instead of Development, is a story of two posters. Let's call one of them.... lkamen. And the other..... NWNGirl. NWNGirl had a habit of posting suggestions and stating how simple they would be based on the fact that she had coded a few things in Neverwinter Nights, because all game code is, apparently the same. lkamen would infuriate her (and many others who posted outlandish suggestions that had a snowball's chance in hell of making it in the game, like permanent quadruple XP) by posting simply "no". Exacerbating the problem, NWNGirl would click the "report" button on any post that disagreed with her suggestions, no matter how politely, tersely or impolitely they were worded. Eventually, it all came to a head with bannings of the worst offenders in these, including those who would over-report, by reporting non-rule-breaking threads simply because they had a different opinion on the suggestion. The Community Reps and Devs decided that the S&I forum needed to be somewhere "less serious" than the development section, and so moved it to For Fun, in the hopes that people would not take themselves as seriously, and not see every Suggestion posted as holy mana provided from on high, but rather give them the feedback they need to become good suggestions. Or even explain why a suggestion just isn't good. And because I feel like giving your suggestion some advice: Tested in CoV Beta, were almost completely incapable of generating fury. It *may* be capable of working now with the changes to fury between CoV Launch and now, but I wouldn't hold your breath too much. Illusion is a *very* poor fit for Dominators due to the way they work. Since you need to be firing off attacks to charge up domination, and pets don't benefit from it, Illusion only has 3 powers that benefit from Domination (Spectral Wounds hasn't benefited from Domination since I15, when the damage buff was removed from Domination) I think this one is the most likely out of your specific requests for proliferations. Castle hasn't said whether his team has any proliferations in mind for I17/GR (BABs already posted, a few weeks back, that I17 will be the GR "synchro patch", much like what I6 was for CoV) There's a reason you don't see animals in game currently. The creation of a quadrupedal skeleton in game design is far different, and oft harder, than creating a bipedal skeleton. Hence why all MM pets so far are bipedal, they can use the same base skeleton practically everything in this game already uses. Also, since I17 is GR-synchro patch, GR is bringing Demon Summoning MMs. That was SexyJay/JLove and his talented crew of costume designers. As for the "new costume options", we've been getting new ones with most issues (I16 actually was the first issue not to come with new free costumes in a while, which took me a bit by surprise. Do you have any specific, or even general ideas? For example, Radiation melee/armor gets tossed around every so often, as does Psionic Melee and various oversized weapon sets for melee (Halberds, Polearms, Staves). I17 will have two powersets from GR, Dual Pistols and Demon Summoning, but we don't know if those are going to require the expansion or not yet. Old suggestion that's often bandied about. But *why* would Boomtown be a co-op zone? RWZ is co-op because you're in a war zone where the enemy is an enemy that nearly decimated the Earth's population (using the proper definition, to kill/remove 1/10th), hero and villain alike. Cimerora is co-op because you're traveling back in time to prevent Romulus Agustus from destroying the timeline that resulted in you existing in the first place, something most villains are fond enough of to team up even with the goodie-two-shoes. Also often stated, but the problem is that bugs are not easily fixed. They have the right name, since they can be as tenacious as a cockroach (which is theorized to be able to survive a nuclear war). There are bugs that have been in the game for almost its whole lifespan because they're that hard to track down, either because they're buried in code so arcane and undocumented it consumed 2 interns and a poor secretary that glanced at it as she was making coffee, leaving them all gibbering naught but insanity, and naming various abominations as Cthulhu, or because the bug only occurs intermittently and is thus nigh impossible to isolate (see: chat buffer bug, and what it took to find it in the first place). As I mentioned with the "new powers" listing, do you have any specific suggestions? Web slinging, tunneling, electric-wire gliding? And are any of those ideas not already covered by powers already in the game? Tunneling is how many stone tankers RP their teleports, web slinging is more-or-less a "reverse SJ", etc. Castle and Sunstorm have already said that Base Raids are going to stay disabled until PvP is somewhere closer to where they want it. Will this be next issue? I have no idea. Only the second intern from the code-examination disaster mentioned above has occasionally mentioned the PvP goal, amidst other potentially prophetic things said amongst his incoherent babbling. Listed in the marketing spiel for GR, actually, so some of it may spill into I17, instead of staying in the expansion alone. I like this, but again, any more specific suggestions? Would you like a purple set for defense or resistance? More Targeted AoE sets? (Please please PLEASE more TAoE sets. There's only 4, including the purple. There are more Snipe sets than that.) Melee sets that don't have such crappy bonuses as the existing ones? |

For my own thoughts I would like to see:
1) A way to trade between your different characters on the same side on the same server. This can already be done with a third person, but sometimes a teammate isn't around when you need them.
2) Do something with Boomtown. The zone has been pretty much the same since the start. There's a V mission where you sabotage some construction equipment, but you'd think there would be some progress after all this time. I'd like to see it reduced in size, clearing some of the larger ruined buildings, and/or seeing new construction near the "safe" zone like what happened to Faultline.
3) A heroic version of Masterminds. Robots can port over, maybe mercenaries, while still keeping the heroic ideal. To that you can add Sidekicks like how Batman has Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, Huntress, etc.
4) Buses. They work like the zone elevators except they take you to distant areas in the zone (useful in places like IP).
5) The ability to craft yellow, orange, and purple recipes from salvage and non-basic recipes.
6) Mini co-op zones based different time periods; Victorian era England (for tech and science drops), medieval China (featuring the Tsoo), roaring 20s Chicago (featuring the Family) with new developments in the Mender's organization. Or maybe not a co-op zone but a "split level" like how there's two versions Oroborus, one for H and one for V and you can't see the other side. Each mini-zone would be about half the size of Cirmoria and have a contact, a store, hospital, and a short TF that all link together revealing a story of the Midnighters vs Menders.
7) A WW or Black Market outlet in your base.
