I have a blaster, I never been to pvp before, but I went to do a missile mish i read about. I know u can be attacked, fine. I was attacked, killed. fine they had their fun...i rezzed flew all the way back to my mish, which i had to start over, and got killed again by the SAME person, who thought it was hilarious, meanwhile I can't see them or catch them, or defend myself at all, im exemplar down to 35, so i ask the person, please just let me do my mish....leave me alone. but NO, so I got killed 15 times, before i decided to leave, how can I protect myself against an invisible spine stalker and im a blaster who cant see them?

1.) Move constantly. It's much harder to hit you with a melee attack if you keep moving, although you'll still have to watch out for Impale from a Spines
2.) Bring some friends
3.) Bring +perception to cut through their +stealth (assuming they aren't capped, which they probably are)
4.) Move around
5.) That friends thing again

Not to be a jerk, but the missiles were intended for base raids, which were removed from the game. You don't -need- them for anything else, and they're generally more trouble to get than they're worth, so the best bet is probably just to give up and come back when noone's around.

If you're a blaster that's not heavily invested in PVP gear, you're pretty much bait for a good stalker. As soon as you stand still for a couple seconds, you're going to get killed; AS goes through your tiny HP pool like a hot knife through butter and your personal defenses are probably fairly poor if you play PVE mostly.

If you actually want to win you'll have to get the first hit, which is extremely hard against a stalker. You're both very high damage characters with minimal defenses, so whoever shoots first has a huge advantage. You're ranged though, which is a point in your favor; if he doesn't take you down in the first few seconds you should win easily by kiting him. If he's a PVP player he'll phase shift / hibernate when he starts loosing, hide, and come back after maybe 30s-1m, fully healed, so be ready for that.

You never 'needed' them for anything.
However, they are insanely powerful and well worth having.

In absence of emps on red side, bio-nukes are often used during red side Hami raids

This, they kinda are needed in redside Hami Raids, since they're basicly the only reliable source of +regen redside

I almost never see anyone when I go for a nuke. When I see someone, I'll find a place to hide and send them a tell asking if they are after a nuke too, or if they are there to PvP. I'll leave them alone if they just want a nuke and ask that they do the same. If they want Pvp or I get attacked, I just leave the zone. They will not leave me alone once they know I'm there. It's not harassment, That's just PvP. All I can hope is that they will get bored after I leave and go find something else to do.

Doing what a zone was put there for is NOT harresment. The person killing yuo over and over were just doing what the zone was intended for.

Yeah, the devs actually intended those temp powers to be harder to get then they've turned out to be, because they expected more PvP there (there was a comment from IIRC Castle long ago when people were asking if Shivans and Nukes were overpowered, no link, sorry).

That said, my first suggestion is to do them during off hours, early mornings and such. Second suggestion is use /hide to hide from searches, no need alerting others there that you are in the zone to be hunted. Third is run the patrol missions for the temp powers to have some stealth, at least you aren't visible from quite as far away.

And I do recommend keeping stocked up on Shivans and Nukes for anyone of appropriate level range, I've seen a couple of TFs saved from failure on the last mission because of those, when there weren't enough members/damage/etc. left for the final AV(s). I get few enough opportunities to do TFs that I'd rather not lose them.

Also badges will go for nukes as well. Hiding is always good, bringing friends better, don't talk in broadcast and actually i find asking them not to kill you to be more of an incenive to actually kill you. If you stay quiet, take the kills, and don't complain alot of times they will get bored of course that was before PvP recipe drops lol.

Also you could pick up an Ethereal Shift recipe at Wentworths.
There not really expensive and will make you Intangible for (30 Seconds).
That's normally plenty of time to power up or get away, and can be used five times.

Except that any halfway competent PvPer will have the Hyper Phase temp power that you can get by doing the patrol in Warburg and will phase when you phase.

You can get one yourself and play a brief game of "phase tag" while running away. Being a repeatable patrol mission reward (though you can only get it 5 times) Hyper Phase costs less than Ethereal Shift, and you aren't stuck phased, so when your opponent phases to continue killing you can delay him for another couple of seconds by unphasing. Ethereal Shift leaves you phased until the charge/"buff" expires (in 30 seconds), so it's less tactically useful.

Hyper Phase is a toggle, Ethereal Shift is a click. Toggles you can choose much more easily when to stop using them. (Stroke Victim Smiley agrees with me.)

Just as another thought since it was only one person attacking you maybe get a base buff before you enter zone and have some greens on you, and try fighting back you might actually like it.

Chomp a few yellows and that Stalker suddenly becomes a lot less hard to see.

Caltrops is another old favorite. (Caltrops not available to all sets. Offer void when servers are offline.)
