I just got pwnd... and loved it!

My brute hasn't been challenged by any solo missions for a long time now. I just cranked my virtual team size up to 8 and tried to tackle a mission overflowing with Longbow. After a pitched fight in a room packed with enemies shoulder to shoulder, a Warden boss Total Focused my villain butt. I think I was in three overlapping Sonic Grenades at the time so the damage was rather impressive.

I haven't had this much fun solo in a while. I'll have to actually use tactics now! Woo-hoo!

I am so glad I had an early day today.....

Well, it may not have been the best idea, I blindly cranked it up to +0/x8 and opened the paper... Hmmm... Malta, Circle, or Carnies...

Level 50 Bots/Traps, it was a cakewalk.

I just tried soloing with a 6 man virtual team size and it was amazing. It was like playing a different game

Very impressed.

It gives me warm fuzzies to be able to partake in wholesale slaughter.

My Fire/Fire Blaster just found a way to quicken the grind.

Yeah, my friend and I were saying the same thing. We were running some missions in the RWZ, him on his 50 Sonic/Kin Corr and me on my 38 SS/SD Brute and we were running on +2/x8 and got whomped a few times. Mostly it was just due to not paying proper attention.

After about the second time we were both faceplanted, he said, "Wow, this is awesome! I actually have to pay attention in a mission now!"

I guess no IM'ing while running around on a team anymore, haha!

If only my PB could get the buffs she'd normally get from an 8 man team...

Got to take on +4 and +5 Devouring Earth enemies last night with a Firetank + Earth/Storm 'Troller duo, both in the late 30's. SO much fun! Slow going at times, and I realize that I'm going to have to re-think slotting (need more +Acc/ToHitBuff...), but the challenge is wonderful.

Just ran lal 50 paper missions in GV with my Brute. Had it set to 8 man team, with +1s. It was a non-stop roller coaster of Destruction!!! I was grinning! Only died 1 time due to a sapper hidden in the corner. At times, I couldn't see anything on my screen due to the smoke from 4 or more Titans.. is was Glorious!!!

I decided to go easy on myself to start. I hadn't played any characters above 12 under i16, so I decided I'd try my level 26 fire/energy tank (SO's and one KB protection IO) as a team of 3, no AV's, +0 level.

I decided to try this in one of my AE arcs, since I wanted to get a piece of rare salvage to sell to finance this perpetually-broke character. I used one of my own story-focused arcs because (1) I knew what I'd be up against and (2) it features the Banished Pantheon, many of whom are weak to fire or energy. I did all right in the first couple of missions against BP, although I did get slaughtered by groups with multiple Hurricaning shamans. The third mission featured mostly Arachnos, who shredded me with energy blasts (he hasn't got his energy resistance slotted up yet). The final mission featured custom enemies using Electrical and Psi attacks. And the lieutenants could heal the minions and bosses.

Yeah, ouch. But it was exciting!

+1/8-man team on a lvl 50 bots/dark/Soul Mastery MM.

Against CoTs, cakewalk.
Against Council, mostly cakewalk.
Against Carnies... not bad, but thank you Mayhem Missions for that Long Bow and Shotgun I picked up to take out the Master Illusionists and Dark Ring Mistresses.

Against Malta...

*zone into mish*

"Oh, look. 3 Zeus Titans, 4 Gunslingers, 1 Tac Ops Commander, 3 Hercules Titans, 1 Sapper..."
*pause*
"I am so dead."
*pause*
"BOTS ON AGGRESSIVE, LET'S GO!"

Faceplanted 5 times but DAMN it was fun.

During Beta I tried out various settings for my WP/Stone Melee Tanker. Turns out my limits are +2(x8) vs Nemesis without using any Tier 9 or Inspirations. I wasn't really in danger of defeat, but OMG it was slow going. And 4 Stacked Vengance is very, very brutal brutal.
