Forums: Slow, unresponsive, database errors....

Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed the forums took a dramatic hit to responsiveness the last few days?

I've had database errors pop up, half pages loading and over 2 minute waits for some pages to load. If this is happening to more than a few people, maybe we can have someone look at it for us.

Post here with any issues you've been having with the forums over the last week with regards to slowness, half loading or any database errors. Hopefully we're not running into the same issue as the previous forum software.

We'll see....

The forum is terribly slow for me. It's since it crashed yesterday ("Database error"...). If I have just one tab open with the forum it's not too slow (but I won't say it's as fast as usual), but when I start to open at least two tabs, it won't load (I let it load for 10 minutes, after that I stopped).
For example, it took me 39sec just to preview this short post.

Just started for me yesterday. I'm almost wondering if this is related to the East Coast connection issues, since I live on the East Coast.

This is quite possible. I'm in the east as well. Hmm...

I live in Texas. This forum is very sluggish. The rest of the Internet sites I have been to recently, like in the last five minutes, are loading kitten quick.

Don't know if this helps.

Forums are responsive again and folks are reporting things have cleaned up in the East Coast thread.

Looks like whatever the problem was out in backbone land may have been corrected.

Be well, people of CoH.

Down in Florida here and things were terribly slow and timing out yesterday and most of the weekend for me on the forums.

As of now, things look to be back to normal fast speeds.

Same here in Georgia, was nasty Sunday, but obviously was getting better Monday and it's just fine now. Some Windows update came through yesterday, dunno if that was just coincidence.

Englander here. They were slow yesterday, but the techs seem to have squirted some WD-40 about today.
