Flashing Back in OUroboros

I have been thinking about working on my Flashback badges for some time now. I dual box a lot and I I want to make a scrapper to help my main Fire/Kin get all his flashback badges. Since trollers do little damage I have a very hard time doing his flashback arcs at lower levels so I wanted to know what power sets would make a good scrapper partner for him when I do the Lv.30 and lower flashbacks?

Scrappers, regardless of powerset, are self-sufficient death machines. But if you're looking for a 30 one specifically... I'd reccomend asking in the Scrapper forum. Some sets bloom early... like Regen, I believe. Though I think Regen is fairly clicky, might be difficult for a dual boxer.

Spines/Wp is a good choice. Lots of good AoE early and some nice single target damage as well. Throw a little speed boost on yourself, and boom there you go.

I also would recomend spines/*. The AOE's would be great with your troller and fairly easy on 2boxing.

Open up your team menu, and click the "Quit TF" button. That'll kick you out of it.

Also quick and easy:
/leaveteam

Is there a way to "Drop a Mission", since I am hopelessly stuck on an Ouroboros Flashback mission? Its the one about the Wasting Disease...

You drop a mission by talking to the contact that gave you the mission. I don't know of any command that does it quickly. You can call the contact through your Contacts window, but I don't think it's allowed during an Ouro. If you are stuck with something, you might just have to send a /petition, or restart it with somebody who can help you complete it.

Mission drop and continue ? That is a no.

To exit the flashback completely:

1) open team window - hit the quit task force
2) use the "/leaveteam" command

However some advice/thoughts on that mission before you abandon it.

The Vahz wasting disease is quite a rough one, but it is only a boss/guards.
Load up on blues a few greens and a few lucks, and simply run past everything to the boss room, Vahz are dumb and will not follow.

Pop the lucks and go after the boss, popping blues/greens as needed.

After the mission the temp power goes away and you can continue to face Doc Vahz himself.

Also, if you're willing to wait a bit, I16 should allow you to sidekick people to a flashback {rather than having all of them need to be in the arc range}.

Granted, for the people below your level, but I thought all players, your level and above, are exemplared to the level of the flashback arc.

That they are {far as I know}, but it still expands your eligible teammate pool to "everyone dammit" instead of "people within one-tenth of the available range and the odd occasional weirdo willing to exemplar for a non-task force
task force".

A few things: IIRC, the new exmp/mal system allows you to keep powers up to 5 levels higher than the level you're lowered to, which should GREATLY ease getting all those badges.

Secondly, I'd also recommend the Spines/WP. Spines is a flat out awesome set with all the range and AoE (I <3 spines!), and WP is very survivable early on, as well as should be easy for dual boxing... /regen would be my alternative to wp, but it takes a lot more effort to dual box with... but the speed boost would make it even better.

Thirdly, even the worst Scrapper combo is gonna kick some serious *** with the kin buffs, so just pick something that seems interesting to you and worry less about min/max.

Rather than start a new topic for a related subject, I will ask here.

Is it possible for an entire team to select the same flashback arc, or is that restricted to mission holder?

Only leader of a team can start a flashback arc, and only the leader of the team will get the arc specific reward (like the Wedding Band for that one arc), but the entire team will get any flashback rewards as well as credit for completing that arc (as well as the arc completion badges, if any).

Thanx for the info; It was a solo-flash anyway, Tech-Scrapper, Claws and Regen. I managed to get through by Hovering through the big areas to where the bodies were, schooling the few in the tunnels, and then hovering while battling the Boss. Good thing that Hover gives you an across-the-board DEF buff; or I would've been in trouble!

Not that 5 Enrages and 3 Luck Inspires ignited had ANYTHING to do with my victory, of course .... heh ...

I'm not sure if its a bug or not; but I didn't get my "Plague" Badge for finishing that specific Arc via Flashback. I got Isolator by Flashing back to Outbreak, and another Badge by finishing its specific Arc. But not this one.... weird...

Did you do the "Vahzilok Plague" or the "Vahzilok Wasting Disease"?

There are two flashbacks versus the Vahz in the 15-20 range

The multi-mission Story arc (where you get the disease) and the single (timed) mission for the badge.

The Wasting Disease ... and I'm starting to suspect that I picked the wrong Flash-Arc for my Badge ... Am I right?
