Question on Power Boost

Power Boost will not increase the Mag of any effects.
It is about time this power description was updated, both in game and in guides like the wiki and tomax, Power Boost DOES NOT improve KB i respeced this into my NRG/NRG blaster aand just have not been a**ed to respec it out yet!
Then it's time for them to get off the cross, use the wood to build a bridge, and get over it.

I find it useful on my sonic/em blapper to lengthen the duration of stuns and sleeps.

For Red Tomax's site, the best person to send this suggestion to is Red Tomax. ("Red_Tomax" on the forums, "@RedTomax" in the game, I don't know about email) I personally don't expect he'll change his site since his Power Quantification pages are merely a dump of game data right now, and adding custom comments would add considerable maintenance time to the site, but one never knows.
Power Boost is great. It WILL buff the strength of Rad's -defense, it DOES increase the -recharge from Psi, and it DOES turn Aid Self into a beast heal. It's not for everyone, sure, but it sure does help. And no, it does not increase the MAG of anything, it increases the duration of those things.

Thank you, edited to clairify. I wasn't too sure about Sonic, as I dont play one.
Like I said, and like was just proven, Power Boost isnt for everyone, but it's still owrthwhile if you have anyting that benefits from it (like Aid Self on my Energy/Energy blaster).

Just to make it clear for everything else:
For Holds, Sleeps, Stuns, Immobs, and Confuses (y'know, powers whose Mag value is of greater importance), there is no such thing as +Mag.
There is no power that can increase those Mags.
Everything you think is +Mag is actually a form of technical trickery.
For example: Dominator's Domination Inherent Power. It does not do +Mag. What it really does is set the flag which allows the Hold/Sleep/Stun/Immob/Confuse/etc to actually cast another version of itself on top of itself.
It's the same mechanic as a Critical Hit.

They just need to sticky the real Power Boost description in the Blasters section from Red Tomax and Paragon Wiki.
It's such a confusing description in game, you get a totally different impression of what it actually does.
As for me, I use it for increasing the duration of stuns and the massive boost to Aid Self for my blaster.
I just skipped it on my Fire/Eng. Like others have said it can be useful but it's def not needed.
Just a simple question. Does Power Boost only effect things like duration on effects like disorient or does it also increase the mag?
