Start Leading Teams People!
Storm Summoning is great because it makes you better than everyone else in the game. - Camma
Knockback is mitigation. It won't be removed just because meleers ***** and moan. - Chaos Creator
I typically lead a team on Virtue every weekend with whatever team oriented character I'm working on at the moment. (Check my wiki page for my current Virtue character.)
Except last weekend I was on vacation.
And this weekend I feel icky from a possible broken rib from last weekend...
Barking up the wrong tree with me.
I lead, period

Lvl 20 controller LFT!! I heelz!
Actually, the guide has been a lot of help to me. I'm somewhat new and didn't know how to use the search function. Much better than shouting in Broadcast. I try not to bother people who are on a mission map or already on a team.
Good team leaders are few and far between. It really is a pain to recruit a bunch of people, let them know what to expect up front, foster good communication, make sure no one feels left out, etc. On the other hand, you get first pick of the chicks. That's right, I said it.
Feel free to try out my AE mission arc, # 473452: Praetorian Redemption
@Valerika
normally i don't care so much about getting handed the star, and when i do try to do as many missions as possible, not just mine. haven't yet had the amusement of really rummaging through AE yet with a team, been a busy couple months for me. just not all that fond of starting up the team myself, because what normally happens is i end up recruiting one or two other folks right away and end up waiting on someone else, and by the time THEY join, one of the first folks to join bounced on off.
not saying i haven't gotten some great PuGs going, just it can be real damn annoying at times. so what it boils down to... i is lazy.
PK..PK..PK..
I see your point dude, and I totally understand. I want to give you an example of why possibly more people might not lead.
In the shiny oxygen-rich thing we call the real world, my job is in supervision. I am a leader in real life, through and through. I have to deal with throngs of people, some quite dumb, and multi-million dollars of equipment on a daily basis.
CoX is my escape, and I find utter joy in simply punching **** in the face, or stabbing necks. I do run an occaisional squad here and there, but I would rather not.
Just saying that I have friends in the game who are professions like dentists, and even my fiancee' is a nurse by trade and she is like me as well. Not everyone wants to log in to a responsibility, even if it is small like simply running a team.
So you're saying that the majority of players out there that are LFT constantly are managers, middle managers, or supervisors?
Well then it makes perfect sense why they are totally inefficient at meeting their goals or getting anything done.
This gives me an idea.
Advertise for a team by catering to the worst stereotypes in the game, then see what happens.
e/g, "Mish team looking for healor & DPS, PST!"
Maybe I should do this with my fire tank and take notes. =P

No, he made a post about leading people OUT OF AE missions and into the "real world", when he got the star by accident or the leader leaving. And I'm talking about forming and running your own teams, of ANY kind from the START.
Not the same thing.
