Art is supposed to create a reaction, this is true. However, to censor ANY art because of that reaction is the height of ignorance. I've seen works that made my stomach turn. I applauded it for the artist's ability to do his/her job. I didn't spit on the artist or the work. EDIT: To put it another way, any drawing of any event, no matter how grotesque we may find the act it *represents,* is still nothing more than lines on paper or graphical representations of 1s and 0s. If you can't separate reality from fiction, there's no help for you. |
