How timely are the vet rewards?

Generally fairly timely, but I've heard of some people recently having to send in a petition.

For me, they generally show up on the day of, after server maintenance. But, yes, some people have had to /petition to get their vet award activated. Give it a day or two just to make sure, but don't worry about sending in a petition if it doesn't show up by then.

My 24 month vet reward is currently a month overdue... I petitioned it 3 days ago and still don't have it nor have I received a reply. It is somewhat discouraging.
My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw
Mine have always come not only on the day of the reward, but also around the time I paid for my account, as well. I once forgot to pay my account while at work and didn't get the chance to update it until 10pm that night. So now all my vet rewards apply some time near or after 10pm. But I have to log out and log back in to get them.

Before the bug started happening, they were right on time. I had to petition for my last one. Guessing they haven't corrected the issue yet.
They seem to be timed to the second. At least for me they are: I get them at exactly the time when my account became active, i.e. 18:30.

I have gotten mine always around the time I activated my account aswell.

Because of the previous glitch, mine no longer sync up with when I activated my account. I just checked again, though, and the vet reward has kicked in. Hurray!
I got my nemisis staff today! *sqeel!* Although I only got it in the evening, the rest of the day was staffless *shrug*

How I miss that feeling.
I had mine awarded ages ago.

I've been paying for my main account annually since before Vet Awards started so I know that's not the issue. Basically for me what used to work like clockwork is now a random roll of the dice.

My Vet Rewards are so timely that I often get them a day or two in advance 
I ask because my account info says I'm due for one today and I am greedy and wants it now (and logged in and did not get it).
It's been awhile since I paid attention to when the vet reward is due and when it actually shows up and I cleared a big SNAFU with support over a previous glitch that mucked up the vet rewards awhile back, so I'm curious as all get-out over what will happen.
Do people find they usually hit the day they are supposed to? Do they show up after server maintenance? If it doesn't show up today, should I panic and start behaving in an irrational and unpredictable manner? Should i wait a few days first?
